Zero George Love + What I Wore + Weekly Post Recap

As I mentioned on yesterday’s post, we headed out to an event at Zero George on Thursday night.  The pilates/barre studio I worked the desk at for over a year in Charlotte came in town and hosted a party.  I was hoping they (Liz and Clary, the mother/daughter team that started Hilliard Studio Method) were going to say they were opening up a studio here.  They did say they were going to have a pop-up sometime, so I’ll keep you posted on that date.  Anyone that I talk to who has read Liz’s book says it is so good!  Can’t wait to read it myself!

Afterward, we headed downstairs and had dinner at the bar.  Zero George is one of my favorite places for dinner…especially if you can find a seat outside.  Cru Cafe and 167 Raw are really close by too, both two other favorites.

Hands down the best deviled eggs…ever.

Since we’re talking food, I went back to Co last week.  I seriously dream about their curry shrimp.  If you go, make sure and ask for extra bread.  So good.

This time I ordered the tuna tacos too.  I know I was probably just really hungry, but next time I’m going to double my order.  These were absolutely delicious!  Then again, everything on the menu is.

What I Wore on Thursday Night

Top (on sale; it’s meant to fit a little oversized, don’t size too far down or it will be too short) // Jeans // Heels // Ring // Earrings (20% off) // Clutch/Crossbody // Lips (Fireball Matte)

I’m heading on a tropical trip next month and of course am already shopping for fun pieces to bring along.  This cover-up is definitely making the trip!  Also available here.  The sales ladies told me that Mara Hoffman has decided to only design swimsuits from now on.  Kind of bummed to hear that.  Here’s hoping she’s only going to take a break from designing clothes for a little while…not forever.  But either way, we need to stock up on what we can!

I posted these leggings on my Instastories the other day and a lot of you asked where they were from.  They’re Lulu.  Love the scallops and the pretty polka dots are light reflective.  Just a note if you’re ordering, make sure and size up one size.  They’re meant to be stretchy, but tight for running.  Love them!  Had no problems with them falling down on my run.  Available in black, navy and maroon.

Absolutely LOVE this cardigan.  It’s the perfect weight for tossing on any time of day.  Whether it’s out for drinks, out for errands or even lounging around on a lazy morning.  Trust me, you’ll love it!  Currently wearing mine right now.

And these lounge pants are super comfy too.  Love the blue so much, I’m tempted to get the pink, as well.

Hope y’all are having a great weekend so far!  We’re headed to Wild Kratts Live this afternoon.  My kiddos are super excited.  I must admit, I’m pretty excited too.  Lanier is too, haha.  I bet he’ll still enjoy it more than he thinks.

Happy Saturday!
