I’ve loved trying on clothes for St. John this week and deciding what to pack. I tried this dress on yesterday, and it’s definitely coming with me! The embroidery is beautiful! Fit is true to size. I’m wearing a small. It’s a great weight and I love it paired with these wedges. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing these shoes with lots of dresses on into summer. A pretty neutral wedge that’s so versatile. For fit, they’re true to size. I’m an 8.5 and wear an 8.5 in them. A reader asked if they’re heavy, and they’re not at all.
This dress also comes in this pretty yellow. I had a hard time deciding between the two colors, but I’m loving the navy.
Yesterday, I went to the new DryBar that opened here on King Street for a complimentary blow-out. All clients and walk-ins yesterday were lucky enough to receive a free one, on their first day open to the public. I’ll share more pics next week, but had to share my go-to ruffle sweater. Yes, wearing it yet again. I received so many compliments on it, and it’s only $45! Everyone loved my pink Tory flats too. Such a fun pop of color! My necklace was a limited edition collection a few months back from Twine & Twig and their collaboration with Kim Richards. This similar one with a pink strap is still in stock. And my other necklace is from Candy Shop Vintage. The light pink is sold out. But good news! I visited her boutique yesterday and she has some fun new colors for spring! You’ll be seeing a bright pink and kelly green, and she’s bringing back her turquoise too. Of the ones in stock right now, I still love my rose gold one.
As for this red dress, thank you to reader Katie, who let me know that you can actually wear this top more than one way.
She said she noticed in another picture that you can untie the knot, like I have on mine, and twist it without the knot too. Love the versatility of this dress! It’s already sold out at Shopbop, but currently available in all sizes here. Paired mine with these sandals.
There are so many good sales this weekend!
J.Crew – 25% OFF with code: HEARTYOU
I was in the store last week, and picked up this top. I’d originally ordered it in the yellow. While I loved the shape, the yellow was too see-through. Was so happy to see they made it in a stripe too.
This striped top is only $19.99
And did you see that they came out with this pink color this season? These won’t last long. They’d actually look really cute with both of the striped tops above.
Such a pretty, classic tunic. Currently 30% off with code: HEARTYOU.
I know it’s early to be shopping for swimsuits, but when I saw that this little tankini for the girls was 30% off, I knew I had to order it.
Tory Burch just marked down lots of new items. My rose gold wallet is part of the sale. Now almost $100 off!
West Elm has marked down 30% off many products. No code necessary. This includes the bone inlay floor length mirror we have in our bedroom!
If you’ve never smelled a Rewined Candle, they smell so good. The champagne is amazing! They’re included during the sale too. Regularly $29 and now $21!

That red dress looks amazing on you!! Beautiful!
In St John..I overpacked so much..I felt like all I wore was swimsuits and coverups…Its so causal in St John. Its truly one of the most gorgeous islands we have visited. The Baths were amazing in Virgin Gorda ..Make sure this is on your list if you are doing any boat day trips !!
Cuuuuute! Where did y’all buy in CHS? You are so blessed to own a home there! We actually just bought on Daniel Island. I like it, but it’s not really Charleston…too far out. Your must have a HUGE closest and clothes budget. You are one lucky lady. You have a different outfit every day…nothing is on repeat. Love your style! Keep the good stuff coming. BTW, I went to UNC too!
I love all your clothes. You have the best style. I am seeing the wedges you are wearing all over Instagram. Looks like they are THE item for spring. Lucky you! No wonder you always get so many compliments. You are on the cusp on the newest trends. Thank you for always sharing. Have bought so much because of you, especially LP. I also second the Daniel Island comments. I was reading about it, and gives the feel of a retirement community. It’s certainly more affordable than actual Charleston. Lots of tract communities like David Weekley, etc. Nice if you like that, but it’s not for everybody.
Drybar is my favorite! I also swear by their products for daily use (the blow dryer is the best I’ve come across)! They really need to open one in the Raleigh area!
I’m dying over your chunky necklace and the embroidered dress…I’m wishing for warm spring weather already!
xoxo, SS

Let us know how the pink J Crew shorts are. Based on all of the reviews, it sounds like they changed them this year – and not for the better. Not one good review. It’s too bad because these have always been my go-to summer shorts.
Did you buy the pink shorts? I love them- but they got terrible reviews on jcrews website.. can’t decide what to do!
