One of my best friends from Charlotte is in town for the week. Since we don’t get to see each other nearly as often as we used to, we treasure these visits so much!
Last night, we headed over to the new eco-friendly nail salon, Mylkbar, for a champagne toast before the grand opening party that evening.
How cute is this set up, with all the Teil prints on the wall?
So many choices!
I love the fact that it’s not just your ordinary nail salon. Katie Shields of Mylkbar also carries local product lines that you can shop too.
How gorgeous are these Glo Shades from Domain Interiors + Design? Each shade is painted by hand!
We also enjoyed a rosé wine tasting with Six Mile Spirits. This one above was my top pick!
Talk about delicious! These mini cupcakes by Lindsay’s Sweets and Treats were frosted with rosé flavoring!
And this organic cotton candy from PURE fluff Co. was actually a veggie fusion with watermelon and beets. Sounds like it wouldn’t taste great, but it was surprisingly really tasty!
Such a fun event! We took a flower crown class by Fetes de Fleurs while we were there and each created these ourselves!
What I Wore
How great is the back of this dress? The straps are also adjustable with buttons, so you can change the length to what works for you.
This dress is also fully lined and is so nice and lightweight. Perfect for summer. Paired them here with these sandals. For fit, this dress runs big. Make sure and size down one size. I’m wearing an XS.
Tonight, we’re headed to another event after the kids go to bed, and I’m thinking of wearing this dress with these wedges. Or I may wear this dress. Not quite sure which one I’ll wear yet!

Loving this Vince Camuto Dress. The material is really soft and is fitted at the top and is loose at the bottom. It’s also true to size.
