Two girls’ nights in a row! Last night, my girlfriend and I headed over to Buru’s Pop-Up. Many of the styles Morgan of Buru (to my left) selects can be worn as a new mother, and beyond. I know a lot of mothers are frustrated that they have to buy transition pieces that they know they probably won’t wear again after they finish nursing or lose their baby weight. Well, Buru solves that problem by carrying pieces that can be worn during the transition period and on after, becoming wardrobe essentials.
Harriet Gilmore (who has a fabulous fine jewelry line by the way, called Casuarina Jewelry) helped to host the event at her mother’s gorgeous home. She’s on the far right in the photo above.
Afterward, Jenna and I headed to The Granary for dinner. This was my first time and it was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and have their truffle fries again.
Morgan also started her own line called Buru White Label. I mean, how cute are these shorts she designed?

I love checking out what all my friend Morgan brings along to her pop-up shops because she always picks the best pieces! I’ve been thinking about this dress for awhile, but wasn’t quite sold on it until I saw it in her person. As soon as I tried it on though, I was sold! It fit like a dream! After Wednesday’s post, I realized I left out some amazing pics we captured when we were on the boat this past weekend! Three dolphins started swimming and jumping in our wake and it was the coolest thing!
