My apologies for the lack of posts this past week! My iMac has been giving me trouble, and not letting me upload photos from my phone, an error messages keeps coming up. Still working on solving the problem. But I hope y’all have had a great week! Still freezing here, and I don’t think I’m the only in saying this, but I’m sooooo ready for summer!
Speaking of summer…
J.Crew is one of the first places I start seeing warmer weather clothes pop up, so of course I jumped at these shorts. Love both prints! Can’t wait until the weather warms up, to wear these. I’m always a big fan of printed shorts, especially from J.Crew. They’re so easy to pair with a solid colored top and sandals. I’ll be wearing mine with these. FYI, the Moonglow Paisley pair has a 3″ inseam and the Twisted Stripe Rope pair has a 5″ inseam. I generally wear a 3″ inseam, because I like to wear them lower on my waist, but I was rather pleased with the rope printed ones. While they’re 5″, and a bit longer, they don’t flare out, which I like!

How pretty is this rug from Lulu & Georgia? I scored it this past week, during their Warehouse Sale. If you’re a long-time SSP reader, you’ll know that I don’t post many interior design photos. Well, after scoring this rug, my mind started racing with ideas for our home. I’ll make every attempt to show you before and after photos. Trust me, nothing too drastic, but fun. As soon as some of the furniture I ordered comes in, I’ll post it.

I got the Polar one above for the hubs for Christmas, but couldn’t decide on which one I wanted one.
Well, I ended up getting the same exact one. Love it! I chose the bronze, because it’s more neutral, but they have other colors available. They’re currently on sale HERE. With Zappos, their customer service is top notch. They offer free shipping and free returns. And their shipping is really fast. I ordered mine on Thursday, and it came the very next day. Can’t beat that!
This is the chest strap you wear while exercising. I’ve heard that these are more accurate, than just wearing the watch. It’s supposed to measure your heart rate more accurately.

I ordered the JCrew bag right after your post and got mine yesterday, I love it! I too was surprised at the size, I am going to use it a ton… I do wish I had done the monogram color you chose, I picked pink but it doesn't match as much as I would have liked it to (the pink on the bottom of the bag is brighter than it looked in the pic).
Uggs are the best for keeping feet warm!
