Tinted UV Sunscreen (not too oily and great protection!) // Olaplex // Phloretin CF (Boosts cell renewal and skin radiance; I apply it before my sunscreen everyday) // Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil (I put it on my wet hair before I blowdry) // Striped Canvas Tote (love how deep it, can hold so much without looking too bulky and it’s only $32!) // Hot Pink Necklace (new favorite I brought with me!) // Lots of questions about my pins on my tote. The horseshoe and pineapple were from the Garden & Gun Jubilee a few years ago, but you can find the Rainbow Row pin here. // Lip Color (top to bottom: Cosmic (shimmery clear coat), BonBon, Bare Pink) || For my full skincare routine, head back to this post.
I’m BACK!! Thanks so much for your patience! My computer decided not to work while we were in Mexico. Something wasn’t matching with the clock, so it wouldn’t let me access anything. Kind of odd, but probably a good reminder to take a real vacay from everything. And it was wonderful! Above are all of my must-haves on any vacation, along with a few new faves.
I get a lot of questions about my hair, and how I keep it from drying out too much in the salty air. My Olaplex is my savior! I rinse my dirty hair, put it on anywhere from an hour to overnight and wash it out with shampoo and conditioner. Makes my hair feel silky smooth and protects it from the elements. I try and use it at least once a week. Trust me, it works wonders on your hair! For my full haircare story and routine, head back to this post.
Lemons // Aqua // Terry Tunic // Tassel Back
I’m also sharing all of my fave cover-ups I packed on my trip. I’m already missing these beautiful views! We honestly lucked out and had perfect weather every single day! It was mid-80s, partly cloudy with a breeze. Paradise.
Love the structure of this preppy cover-up. It’s a terry material too. Take $20 off with code: SPREADTHELOVE. Paired it with these new striped Jack Rogers Jellies. For fit, I’m an 8.5 and wear an 8 in them.
This lemon-printed cover-up is breezy and effortless. Comes in other prints too! Just toss-on and you’re good to go!
Matching the water with this maxi cover-up. Some of you may remember it from Key West. I’m 5’6″ and it doesn’t touch the ground.
Can’t go on vacay without a tassel-back coverup!
This coverup is made of the softest, coolest material! It’s hard to describe. Like it feels like bathing suit material, but it’s a lighter, breezier weight. I love it, and especially that is has pockets! Take $20 when you use code: SPREADTHELOVE. // Sunnies featured in all pics above here.
Another favorite coverup that’s great as a dress too! Under $50 and super soft. Paired here with these sunnies (similar less expensive pair here) // Tassel Earrings // Striped Tote // Bikini Top
Today, I’m walking the runway at the Gaillard Center to benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. A luncheon and shopping experience will also be held during the event. Please say a prayer I don’t fall! Walking the catwalk is definitely NOT one of my finest skills, so bear with me. If you’re local, you can shop my dress and necklace at Beckett Boutique on King Street. You can also shop it here. Paired here with these sunnies (less expensive lookalike here) and bag.
Happy Thursday, Y’all!
Hi Ashley! Love your posts! I have wanted a tassel cover-up for ages and love the blue color. The sizing is a little confusing – all reviews say it runs really large. I am a size 10 and would normally order the m/l however am thinking i need to order the xs/s???? And the tassels are made from yarn – do you have to hand wash this? Purchased the gorgeous lemon one from Nordstrom! thx!
My apologies for the delayed response. It’s meant to fit really billowy. The sizing honestly depends on how short you want it. The xs/s is at least three inches shorter than the m/l.
