Life Lately + What I Wore

Father’s Day in coordinating blues and greens! // Lanier’s Hat // His Sunnies // Girls’ Dresses (I should’ve snapped a pic of the back. Next time they wear them, I will.) // Boys’ Shirts

The night before, Lanier and I headed out on a date.  Wore this dress.  Absolutely LOVE the fit!  I have it in white from last season, and was so excited when I saw it came out in this pretty blue color.  Currently on sale!

Logan’s friend – Clammy.

Vineyard Vines is partnering with Discovery to help celebrate Shark Week this year.  The 30th anniversary of Shark Week!  Shop the entire limited edition collection hereLanier’s Coozie.

Wore this eyelet cover-up on the boat last week, and y’all, I’m obsessed!  While the quality is amazing, it’s still super airy and lightweight.  Comes in a few other colors too.  Tempted to get the white, also.

Wheeler and her unicorn birthday float!

Had to put it to use on her birthday!

Ice cream after the game!

She’ll never be too old for me to hold her, no matter how old she gets!  Wearing this dress in a small.  It’s lined, so not see-through and currently on sale!

And this one better not EVER turn 10!  She’s wearing this cover-up, the entire set comes with a cute bikini (the bottoms have a skirt)!

I’m wearing this cover-up and these sunnies.

Can’t get enough of this bikini top.  Have worn it so much lately!

Another week of VBS has come and gone.  While ideally, I wouldn’t have wanted to have camps back to back, they had a great time.  We’re excited for a week of fun outings next week.

On Wednesday night, I headed out for a girls’ night at Parcel 32 (it’s where Fish used to be on King Street).

It’s been too long since we’ve gotten together, but as always, it was great to catch up!

Squash with the most amazing sauce.  My stomach is rumbling looking back at all of these dishes!

Tried the 1861 Bramble with a hint of spice.

If you’re looking for a place with the most amazing dessert, head over to Vintage Lounge.  Their fondue is insanely delicious!

Persifor came into town last week and hosted the prettiest brunch at Cannon Green.  Unfortunately, I was sick with the stomach bug so I had to miss it.  They were still sweet enough to send me a treat, in the prettiest of packages.  A handpainted box that matched the print of my dress!

Dress (wearing a small) // Sunnies // Wedges // Earrings

Yesterday was the first day of summer, as well as National Wear Your Lilly Day.  I wore one of my all-time favorite styles – the Jackie Dress.  Silkiness with a swing.  Paired them with these rose gold Jacks.

Another favorite from this week was this t-shirt dress.  Super comfy and such an easy toss-on.

I can’t pass up a good Shep Shirt, especially when it’s striped.

Lastly, I’ll leave you with this outfit that I wore last week to Wheeler’s birthday party.  This top is awesome and only $15!  Paired it with this necklace and these shorts!

I’m so sorry I haven’t blogged as often lately.  Time just gets away from me and our summer is clearly packed.  I used to wake up at 5am to post, but now I’m thinking I need to change that to night time.  Also, some of you have asked why I haven’t posted a collage of my favorites lately, like I used to.  Unfortunately, the site Polyvore which was extremely easy to use just shut down unexpectedly a few months ago.  As I’ve always said, I have no idea how to use Photo Shop, but I know you can do collages on it.  I’m still searching for the next best thing to create my collages, but still sad Polyvore is gone.

I hope y’all have a great weekend!  We’ll be on the water – our happy place – enjoying some family time!  Oh, and I’ve had a few of you recently ask about the swimming pic in my bedroom.  I got it here.

TGIF, Y’all!

  1. Try out Canva for doing collages! So simple, and you can make tons of other things, too!
