E picked out her Halloween costume today.  She chose Merida from Brave.  She was so excited to wear it, that she insisted on putting it on right after we went through the check-out line…and I let her…and then she danced and curtsied her way out of the door!

J.Crew Swing Sweater

I know I’m obviously loving everything about J.Crew Fall from all of my posts this week, but I wanted to add that the Swing Sweater has been restocked, and it now comes in this pretty purple color also.  Just a note, this sweater may not be for everyone.  It’s very different, in that it has no fitted waist area, it definitely swings, and the sleeves are fitted.  It’s new and fun, and I love it!  It goes so well with my fitted jeans, and it’s super comfy too!
Rebecca Taylor Striped Dress
Okay, so I’ve had my eye on this dress for some time.  It retails for $250, but I found it online at Saks for $100.  Unfortunately, the size I wanted (a Small) has since sold out at Saks, so I went elsewhere trying to find the dress, at such a low price point.  Shopbop carries it in a Small, but it’s still going for $175, and Nordstrom is still pricing theirs at $150.  Well, little did I realize I should just go to the source, the Rebecca Taylor site.  Bingo!  It’s on sale for $100, and is currently available in all sizes.  Trust me, it’s a fabulous dress!

I love that Lilly top too wish I got it the so many times I saw it on sale. I have 2 other elsas wasn't sure I needed another.

  3. How do you get the. Clothes to look brand new in the outfit posts? I would have to win the lottery to dress like you! What is your secret to having so many fabulous clothes? I love your style!

    1. You're so sweet! Thank you! They're not brand new, but I guess the way I fold them, makes it look that way. You'd be surprised at the number of clothes I don't have. I do a lot of consigning, when I don't want them anymore. Also, now that I'm finished having babies, and down to my goal weight, I sold all of my bigger-sized clothes, to score fresher, newer pieces that fit better, with the money from selling my old clothes. I like to be able to look in my closet, and like what I want to wear, and know that everything will fit well. Also, I store all of my shoes in their original boxes, which keeps them looking new.
