So Lanier’s favorite bourbon is Bulleit. When we attended the Bourbon Affair a few weeks ago (for more pics of the event, check out this post), we knew we wanted to visit this table. While Lanier enjoys Bulleit straight, I wanted to try the mixed drink they offered and it was absolutely delicious! It was a pleasure to meet Todd Richman, a national whiskey educator on the Diageo Reserve Team. For today’s Thirsty Thursday post, I’m sharing the recipe he created for the event with you. Enjoy!
Holy Pineapple Old Fashioned
1.5oz Bulleit
.25oz Rich Pineapple Syrup (Small Hands Foods)
2 Dashes Miracle Mile Forbidden Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a large rocks glass with cracked ice and stir 10 times.
If you’re a bourbon lover, you will love this one!
