I can’t believe the new year is just around the corner! With all the holiday hustle and bustle behind us, I’m just so thankful I had my Walmart+ membership! If you’re interested in signing up, check it out here. Just think of it as Walmart, the same everyday low prices you love, but even more convenient! Also, earlier this month, they just added a NEW benefit – Walmart+ free shipping, no order minimum! Excludes oversized/freight & Marketplace items.
Previously, you had to spend a minimum of $35+ to receive free shipping on Walmart.com, but now there isn’t a minimum when you buy items shipped & sold by Walmart. You may also receive your order with next-day or two-day shipping, depending on what you order and where you live. So if there’s still anyone you need to gift on your list you can have it shipped to them as soon as the next day. Love that! For as busy as I am, I love the fact that I can use Walmart+ to order anything I need so easily, without having to make a trip to the store.
Another benefit of a Walmart+ membership is that you’ll have to access to member prices on fuel at Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Murphy gas stations! If you’re like me and are on the road often, I’m always thrilled to score gas at a great price!
With how much I’m on the phone, I love that with the Walmart+ membership I can shop and check-out in the store with my phone using mobile scan & go in the Walmart app! All I have to do is scan my products as I shop, pay, and be on my way – a true contact-free checkout! I feel like everyone can agree that less time at the register is amazing, right?
To give you an idea of how it worked for me just this past week, I knew I was going to visit my family in Charlotte and wanted to bring some fun board games with me. I could’ve carried all of the ones we had at our house with us, but then decided it would make a great gift! I knew if I used my Walmart+ membership I could ship my order there quickly and for free (no order minimum) and my parents would have the games on hand any time we wanted to play them when any of our extended family visited! I went for the classics and still love playing all of these so much…
We love playing Battleship! This is a great one to play, even virtually with friends or family, if you both have the game!

You can’t go wrong with The Game of Life. I’ve loved this game since I was really young and love that they keep updating it over the years.
Another great and simple board game is Sorry! Most recently, they’ve added new rules to make it more complex, but I do still love the original.
Talk about an update. I still remember playing the old version of Clue, but the newest version looks so fun too! If you’re like me and still love the older version, now labeled as ‘Retro’ (is 1986 now considered retro?), you can order it here.
Yahtzee is always fun! Love that it doesn’t matter how many players there are, everyone can play!
