All Rings Closed for January + Inspirational Words on a Friday

Well, I did it.  I closed all of my rings in January!  To share my daily goals with you, this was yesterday (the last day of my challenge).  If you’re wondering what I’m using to track my goals, it’s the Activity App that comes with your iPhone.  I sync it with my Apple Watch and let technology do the rest!

How did y’all do??  Did anyone else close all of their rings in January too?  Even if you were close, I’d love to hear!  For February, I’ll continue to strive to close out all of my rings, but this month I’m going to focus more on healthier eating choices and hitting just 600 calories for my Move Goal.  While I know my goal was to hit 600 everyday, by the end of most days in January I was hitting 1000.  It was great to hit that number, but for as many calories as I burned, I was hungrier for that many more calories to eat to make up for it.  So I’m hoping this month, I won’t be as hungry if I aim for a lower goal.  We’ll see how it goes!

One of my bible study leaders many years ago enlightened me with this and I still believe it will resonate always…

“I think it is important to remember that all great inspiration comes from little seeds of kindness. And that everyone, no matter who they are, deserves a little kindness everyday.

So go be kind, A good word, a right deed.  Even if it isn’t appreciated or acknowledged, do it anyway.”
