Last week, my friend and I enjoyed the yummiest lunch at Xiao Bao Biscuit. You know I couldn’t leave my new bag at home.
Hanoi Cocktail
Our drink of choice was so delicious and so refreshing! Ingredients: Brokers Gin, Lime, Cucumber, Hint of Green Chartreuse & Velvet Falernum
But I must admit, the food was even better! This was my first visit to Xiao Bao Biscuit and it definitely won’t be my last. I’ve been wanting to go here for awhile now, but always opted for on another lunch spot. Not anymore. Their curry dish was amazing!
And I’m already dreaming about the Okonomiyaki otherwise known as an insanely delicious Japanese cabbage pancake. My friend and I split, but next time I think I want one all to myself. If you’re local or in town visiting, this is a must visit. Trust me on this one. So good!
As I mentioned on yesterday’s post, again, my apologies for the photo overload, we headed out for a boat day on Monday’s day off. Clearly, I was in my element this past week taking pictures. Can you believe these particular pics on today’s post were all taken with my iPhone?! So my sister’s boyfriend just taught me this feature, and it’s so awesome. If you have an iPhone 7 Plus, all you have to do is change to Portrait mode on your camera and it adds a depth effect.
Such clear pics, right??
Now, onto this Lilly Pulitzer Jane Dress I’m wearing. It is everything. Like I’m hoping they hurry up and make it in more prints. I did hear from one of my readers that it’ll be back in another print soon. The material is thin, but in a good way. It’s hard to describe, but perfect for warm weather. Love the slightly flowy style and the arm holes aren’t too big. You can zip it as low or high as you want it in the front, with the cutest little tiny bamboo zipper. It looks really short on the model, but I’m 5’6″ and it’s not that short on me. For fit, I’m wearing a 6. It’s also available here and here. Paired it with these sunnies (also available here).
Sure going to miss these kiddos while I’m gone. But I know they’ll have a blast with their daddy. Sometimes it’s good to be missed…but just for a little while. I’m bad at linking up my kids’ clothes, I know. But Logan’s shirt and shorts are new and he loves both! And they’re all wearing these Natives in the boat pics. I’ll work on a kids’ Spring clothing post soon.
Love my girls…especially when they’re matching. I hope they never grow out of wanting to match! Not that they do it all the time, but it’s so cute when they do. Wearing these sweet blue dresses.
Since we’re talking Lilly, how pretty are the embroidery details on this cover-up?
Because I couldn’t go somewhere tropical without a little Lilly! Have had this one (also available here) on my wish list and was so excited that when I finally decided to try it on, it fit exactly how I wanted it to ! Colorful, comfy, flowy and a great length. Just the way I like it! Paired it here with these tassel earrings and these sandals.
Can’t believe we leave tomorrow! Be sure to follow along on Instagram for more up-to-date posts. I’m sure I’ll be ‘over posting’ while I’m there, just a fair warning.
Happy Thirsty Thursday, Y’all!
That Lillly dress is gorgeous – ordering it now! I must ask – HOW do you keep your room so clean! Love all of the whites in there too, it always looks so fresh!
