Wednesday Whereabouts + What I Wore

We had the best time at SEWE (Southeastern Wildlife Exposition) this past weekend!  The kids look forward to this weekend as much as I do!

On Friday afternoon, the kids and I headed to the Gaillard to see Jeff Corwin’s presentation.  They loved seeing all of the animals he brought out.

Afterward, I’d been promising the boys all week that I’d take them to Taco Boy, so we headed there after the show.  I swear they eat their weight in guacamole and cheese dip.  Not to mention how much Logan loves their Mexican corn.

What I Wore

Cardigan // Tee (on sale) // Shorts // Sandals

On Saturday night, Lanier and I headed out for a fun date night.  SEWE had a fun soirée at the Bus Hub.  Lanier went last year with friends, while I took the kids back home after a busy day of taking in all the SEWE sights at Marion Square and Brittlebank.  This year, we decided to wait and take the kids to SEWE on Sunday this year.  It was definitely less crowded on Sunday which we loved.  I’m thinking we’ll do that every year from now on.

The food was amazing!

This Beretta Over/Under was raffled off during the event.

Matching in our Barbour jackets.  I know, super cheesy.  But what can I say, we love them.

It was a beautiful day for church on Sunday morning.  How sweet are the girls dresses from Florence Fancy?  I’m thinking the one Wheeler is wearing will be her Easter dress too.  Love the little ruffle hem at the bottom.  I had some of you asking about their shoes.  They’ve practically lived in this style for the past few years.  Super comfy for all day wear.  They’re by Morgan & Milo.  They have super cute pink ones right now and they’re on sale!

After church, we headed to SEWE at Brittlebank Park just in time to watch my sister jump with her dog, Sadie.

The boys could’ve played on all of this equipment all day.

Camel and pony rides for all!

At every petting zoo, Wheeler always has to seek out the lambs and sheep.  She’s slept with her lamb, Baba, since she was a baby and has to give his friends a good squeeze.

Trampoline action.  The girls really wanted to do flips, but they said they were tied in too tight.  Guess there’s always next time. 😉

My sister and her puppy Sully!  Some of y’all asked about my sunglasses when I posted this pic to my Instastories over the weekend.  They’re this style.  I’ve actually had them for about three years, but scratched them and always kept forgetting to get the lens replaced.  I took them to Shades, a local spot in town, and they repaired them for me within a week!  Happy to have them back!

On Monday, Lanier didn’t have work and the kids were off from school, so we had a fun boat day.  Weather was beautiful!

We stopped at a restaurant on the water and enjoyed some yummy food.  Even the kids ate the calamari and fried green tomatoes.  I was impressed!  Then again, it’s hard to turn down fried food.

Anchored around the Morris Island Lighthouse before heading onto the beach to play in the sand.  Still can’t get over the fact that we’re lucky enough to get to do this in February!

Wrap Cardigan (currently 40% off!; also available in black) // Striped PJ Pants

Hope y’all are having a great week so far!  So of course when I’m headed off on a tropical weekend in February, I expected the weather to be cold here while I’m gone.  Well, it’s expected to be 80 here on Saturday!  Crazy?!  I know the kids and Lanier will definitely be soaking it up!
