Weekend Inspiration: Psalm 139: 9-14

I have always loved this scripture.  These words are lyrics in a song that my sisters and I have sung since we were in our church youth choir growing up.  Not only is the tune beautiful, but the words are so eloquently written, as all the words of the Bible are.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
       if I settle on the far side of the sea,
 10 even there your hand will guide me,
       your right hand will hold me fast.
 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
       and the light become night around me,”
 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
       the night will shine like the day,
       for darkness is as light to you.
 13 For you created my inmost being;
       you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful,
       I know that full well.
~ Psalm 139: 9-14
Doesn’t this scripture just give you such a sense of peace and calm?
I am so thankful that He created me and those that I am so lucky to have in my life.
So many times I take this for granted, and I shouldn’t.
I would love to have more of this peace in my life, and allow more time to devote to Him.
I hope y’all are having a wonderful weekend!  Be so grateful for the life the Lord has given you.
 Soak up every minute of it!
