Wednesday Whereabouts

I had to start off today’s post with food I had last week (while waiting in preschool carpool).  After one full day on the cleanse, I actually feel great.  But it’s safe to say I can’t wait for this kind of yummy goodness next week!  One of my favorite sandwiches from Bull Street Gourmet – the Smoked Salmon BLT.

And more deliciousness from Taco Boy last week!  If you’re in town, you MUST try their Frozen Screwdriver and Tempura Avocado Taco.  My two favorites!  I think I honestly eat here at least once a week!  Another meal that will be calling my name once this cleanse is over.
Having fun at an art class at Camp Perri last week with artist Morgan Cole.
My sweet inlaws – Poppy and Grammy to the kids – visited us for a few days.  We were so excited to have them in town!

Disney Live!  The kids loved it!
What I Wore

Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Top // Rebecca Minkoff Fringe Crossbody // Jeans (similar here) // Tory Burch Slide Wedges (old; similar here and here)
For more details, check out last Friday’s post.
Went to dinner at Basico last week.  This was my first time visiting, and it definitely won’t be my last!  Still dreaming about the chips and salsa!

The day after Disney Live! the boys insisted on wearing their mask and hat into their classrooms.

On Friday, the girls and I tried out a new organic, gluten-free frozen yogurt spot called Island Ice on Isle of Palms, thanks to my friend Sarah’s rec.  A little too pricey for me, but the girls loved it!
What I Wore

Swing Sweater (old, very similar here) // Sunglasses // Charleston Rice Beads (gold and navy) // Jeans (old, similar here) // Sandals // Gigi New York Tote // Elephant Bangle // Cocktail Ring
Prom Pose!  Crazy to think we went to prom together almost 17 years ago!  On Friday night, we headed out to a fundraiser with our friends and the theme this year was 80s Prom.  Would you believe Lanier got his entire outfit (the jacket, vest, shirt, tie, and shoes, minus the white pants) at Goodwill for less than $35!?  He said he stopped in and grabbed it all within ten minutes.  And yes, the plaid lines on his jacket were metallic.

They played the BEST music.  All 80s of course!

What I Wore

After my inlaws left, my parents came into town.  The kids were just as excited to see them, as they were my inlaws.  We were so spoiled seeing our family so often before we moved last year.  Now I don’t take anything for granted when we get to see them every month or so.

After tennis we headed to the pool.  For more of those pics, and my favorite new cover-up, check out Monday’s post.
Worn out and headed home to bed.

Of the five juices I’m to drink everyday, #4 is definitely my favorite!  It contains cashews, cinnamon, vanilla seed, coconut water and agave.  After posting this pic last night, some of you asked about my pajamas.  They’re by Lake and I absolutely LOVE them!  Got my new rug on sale here, not many left!  And yes, still loving my Apple Watch!  In case you missed a review on it, check out this post.
If y’all are looking for something to do around town, Cirque du Soleil opens tomorrow at North Charleston Coliseum.  We’re taking the girls to see it tomorrow night.  So excited!  It’s the new one called Toruk: The First Flight, inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar.  Tickets available here.

After yesterday’s ‘Loving Lately’ post, some of you requested that I show you the inside of my new Tory Burch Smartphone Wristlet.  It can comfortably hold my iPhone with my case and credit cards.
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!

  1. I'm so curious about the Apple watch – I read your initial review but after using it for a while longer, what do you mainly find yourself using it for? Have you used it mostly for tracking your exercise?
