Wednesday Whereabouts + A Roberta Roller Rabbit Event

What a weekend!  I let the kids miss school on Friday so we could go and visit my grandfather.  We haven’t seen him in two months and that’s just too long.  When we lived in Charlotte it was easier to visit him, since it was only an hour and a half away.  But now that we’re in Charleston, the trip is a little bit longer.  He’s 90-years old and still loves sharing so many memories of his days in the navy and can still remember everything so clearly.  It’s amazing.
Logan enjoying his favorite treat – my grandfather’s cheese straws.  He doesn’t make them as often as he used to, so you know it’s special when they’re in one of his bowls.  His other bowl had Logan’s other favorite – chocolate!
Vaughn left this pond only for a minute.  His love for animals is the sweetest.  There were big koi in one part, but a baby was hiding under some plants and he was determined to get him to come out and say hey.
I know I mentioned it on Saturday’s post too, but after visiting my grandfather, we headed home for the weekend.  It’s always good to see my parents, sisters and play with some of my nephews.
What I Wore
Top (also available here) // Shorts // Necklace // Sandals (found them for only $23.99) // Sunnies // Wrap Bracelet
On Saturday, we headed over to Slate Interiors to shop around.  My friend Lindsey is in charge of their Instagram account and as soon as I saw that she posted a replica Hermes tray, I jumped at the chance to bring it home with me.  Vaughn came with me and really wanted this sweet dog, he named him “Pup.”
If you’re in Charlotte, you must visit.  You’ll want one of everything in every single booth.
Back home, it was more time with more nephews.  Wearing my Carolina blue ruffle top.  The Tarheels played their hearts out on Saturday night.  Seriously one of the best games I’ve ever seen them play.  Lanier was lucky enough to be at the game!
This dress is one of the dresses I posted about yesterday.  It’s a tad bit short as I’m 5’6,” so I’ll end up pairing mine with leggings and booties or boots, but if you’re shorter than me, it’ll be perfect as a dress!  I’m wearing a small.  Love these colors for fall.

In case you missed yesterday’s post, I shared my “Top 10 Fall Dresses.”  You can click on items above to shop, or check out yesterday’s post for more details on each dress.
On Sunday, we got back just in time for the girls and I to go see the Kidzbop Concert.
 They loved every minute!
What I Wore
Top (I’m wearing a 6) // Shorts (old, similar here) // Sandals // Crossbody // Ring
Yesterday, after the girls finished their homework, we headed to the pool for one of the last dips of the season.  The water was noticeably colder, but not enough to keep us out. // Flip Flops // Polish is Fiji // Pool Tote // Speaker/Radio
If you remember this top I shared with you last week as an outfit of the day, the orange print is now back in stock.  I know a lot of you were disappointed at how quickly it sold out.  Well, now it’s been restocked and currently available in all sizes.
A perfect hue for fall.  This top runs big, but I still have it in a small.
Matching in their Roberta Roller Rabbit pajamas last night, after dinner at the pool.  This cute Scottie dog  print is part of their new Highlands collection.
Y’all know how much I love RRR!  If you’re in town tomorrow night, I’ll be hosting an event at their King Street location from 6-8pm, along with some other fabulous bloggers.  You’ll get to view their new Highlands collection before anyone else.  All other stores will not release their collection until October 4th.  Champagne, Callie’s Biscuits and cupcakes will be served, and everything full price is 15% off!  Really looking forward to this event!  Hope to see y’all there!
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!
