Wednesday Whereabouts

What a week we’ve had!  This time of year is always super busy, but I love every minute of it!  My sincerest apologies for the photo overload!
Wheeler had her performance last Wednesday, and she did such an awesome job singing.  She also had a speaking part and she remembered every word.  So proud of her!
Before picking up the boys from schools after Wheeler’s performance, I popped into Open Door’s new shop.  Love the new location!

These are my new blue Tory Burch Sunnies I was telling y’all about on this post.  Not exactly the ones I’d had before, but I love them too.
 So much to love here!
I didn’t have much time to shop, but I picked up two of these little bark Christmas Trees.  May just leave them up all year!
In the back of Open Door’s shop is Harrison Blackford’s studio.  How bright and beautiful are her pieces!  The pillows she creates are hand-painted.  When I was at Garden & Gun’s Jubilee the other week, I spied some of her pillows, but the shades were more green and neutral, but you know I love my pink!
That afternoon, I met my friend Natalie over at Vintage, and let the children play.  As always, the best time!  And the weather was perfect!

Wearing this J.Crew Top and my new sunnies I got last week.
Effie’s performance on Thursday was the cutest ever!  The little motions they did for each of the 12 Days of Christmas were adorable!
Logan and Vaughn both had their Christmas parties on Friday morning.
Vaughn showing Santa his cracker.
Some of the moms made the most creative treats for Logan’s class!
Telling Santa wanted he wanted for Christmas!
What I Wore

Top // Jeans // Flats (old, similar here) // Sunglasses // Ring // Necklace
Lanier had me close my eyes and come outside on Friday on my birthday.  I was so very surprised!  And it’s Carolina blue!  Can’t wait to take it to the pool this summer!  Since it’s been so unseasonably warm, we’ve been able to take it around to see the Christmas lights too, our nightly routine before bed.
Caroling!
Lanier and I went out to dinner Friday night for my birthday, then out to a really fun Christmas party at my friend Chassity’s house.
What I Wore

Dress (on sale, runs big, size down; I’m in a 4) // Sparkly Gold Heels // Necklace
Wheeler and Effie attended a workshop at Camp Perri, led by Riley (creator of Little Lux), who traveled up from Atlanta with her dad, John of Gunner & Lux.  My girls love the necklaces she creates!  You may remember the reindeer necklaces they wore a few weeks ago here.  At the class on Saturday, they got to create the cutest holiday necklaces!
A little downtime before hosting an oyster roast on Saturday morning!
My friend Jane was so thoughtful and baked this cake for my birthday!  SIX layers and my favorite kind of cake – almond cake with buttercream frosting!  So good!
Lighting all the candles was quite the task!
This was our first backyard fire here, definitely won’t be our last.  And it was the perfect night to start one – it got down to 35 degrees.
The oysters, potatoes, corn, shrimp were all so delicious!  Wish we could do it again soon!  One of my favorite meals!
Run, run, Rudolph!

Can’t get over how warm it’s been!  No jackets necessary!
You may remember the Milk & Cookies party we attended a few weeks ago.  I ordered some of the prints and just LOVE this one.  Such a great Santa!
 Festive bows and braids!
Yesterday, I stopped by Anthropologie to look around.

Loved these Champagne Flutes!  Would be perfect for NYE or anytime.

I posted this a little later in the day yesterday, so in case you missed it, I’ve included it again today!  Absolutely love this top!  Comes in a pretty black print, as well.  I’m wearing a small.  And yes, it’s that warm today, shorts and sandals…but raining off and on, hence my candy stripe umbrella.
I finally got to try on the gold Mara Hoffman dress behind me.  It’s currently on sale here.  While the gold bead detailing is beautiful, the dress is actually really heavy and the white part is a sweater material.  I’m not a big fan of sweater dresses because they stretch so easily.  I have a feeling this one would do the same, especially given how heavy it is.
Other favorites at Anthropologie that I’m loving, but I couldn’t find them in the store yesterday…
And this cozy cardigan I’ve worn so much this season is now on sale.  Not many sizes left!

These pajama pants are also on sale!

Now that it’s winter, and the temps are in the 70s, these Winter Wonderland Jacks would be perfect!
Currently on sale!
Happy Wednesday, Y’all!
Two days till Christmas!
