Wednesday Whereabouts + Lilly Pulitzer Endless Summer Sale Info

With school starting back in just a few weeks, I knew this past weekend I needed to get on the ball, and start getting things organized.  As you saw on Monday’s post, I conquered the girls’ shelves and organized the toys throughout the house, but I’ve got a long way to go.  This was just Saturday’s To-Do list, I think I’ve added twenty things to my to-do list since then. // Personalized Notepad
I have the best helpers when it comes to conquering my to-do list!
A little night time reading.  Effie was taking notes…
When Logan and her daddy got up, she took over.  Listening to her “pretend read” to Vaughn is quite funny!  Her stories are very descriptive!
My parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Monday.  Seriously amazing!!
Yesterday, with the pool being out of the question with the rainy weather, we headed out with friends to The Discovery Place.  If you’re in town, you should definitely check it out.  I’ve been going since I was little, and still love it!  For natives, even after all the renovations, the big stuffed grizzly bear is still there.  // On Effie: Top (on sale), Shorts and Shoes // On Wheeler: Top (on sale) and Shoes
I kid you not, this creature was called a Donkey Dung Sea Cucumber!
Sweet E with her buddy.  Really hoping they get in the same class again this year!
Logan’s favorite!  “Nemo! Look! It’s Nemo, Mama!!”
My mom came over yesterday after naps and took the girls to their house to spend the night last night.  Wasn’t planned, but the girls loved it.  If you asked them, they’d move there in a heartbeat.  And if you asked them why?  There are a million reasons, but what they tell people:  “Because they have Netflix!” // Necklace
My top is Lilly Pulitzer.  It’s sold out, but with the Endless Summer Sale coming up soon, it may appear again.
I’ve had a few readers email asking about the dates.  Now I’m not sure for certain, but last year the sale was on August 19th and 20th.  So that means if it falls at the same time again, that would make it this Monday and Tuesday, the 18th and 19th.  You can always check Lilly Pulitzer’s website here for more info, or you know you can always check back here.  I’ll be sure and post about it as soon as I hear the accurate dates.  But for now, I’d plan on being reading at your computer on Monday morning.  And if you’re not familiar with Lilly Pulitzer’s Endless Summer Sale, I’ll be providing more info on Friday, but this sale is amazing.  If you’re a Lilly lover, you won’t want to miss these deals!  If it is on Monday, then Monday’s post will strictly be dedicated to all things Lilly.  As soon as I see what they’re offering, I’ll try and provide sizing and fit guides on my post.  One very important thing to keep in mind is that everything goes FAST!
Needless to say I’m super excited!!
Tory Burch’s Private Sale is still going on.  These Metallic Revas that were included have now sold out, but these Revas are still available. // Heart Shorts are J.Crew and I love the fabric and fit on them!  They run a little small, so if you’re between sizes I’d order a size up.
I ended up ordering the Bombe Tote (thanks for the encouragement, Kat!).  I’ve been thinking of getting one for awhile now, and couldn’t miss it this time, since it was on sale.  The tan has sold out, but the pretty red one is still available.
And of course naturally, I keep checking back on the sale, and now I’m really considering this Bombe Clutch.  There are five colors still available.  For some reason, I’m really liking the orange.  Such a great color for Fall.
SSP reader Shirley emailed me yesterday asking about the Calita dress and if it was see-through.  The Calita isn’t see-through as it’s chambray.  But the Amira (in photo above) that looks very similar to the Calita, is cotton voile and is see-through.  It’s made more for the pool/beach as a cover-up than a dress.  Super cute though, and marked down to $99.
Kate Spade’s Surprise Sale ends tomorrow at midnight!
This little Maximillian Minerva is so cute, and only $39!
Anyone need a teacher gift for the first day of school?  These Apple of My Eye Studs are only $19!
A big thank you to reader Betsy for the sweetest email I received this morning!  Your kind words seriously made my day!
Hope y’all have a wonderful Wednesday!  The sun is finally back out here and planning to stay for a few days!

  1. I'm avoiding the TB and KS sales so I can really go after the Lilly sale next week!! I'm going to be sitting by my computer all morning on Monday!

  2. Nothing announced yet on the Lilly website but I had things I might want to buy during the sale in my shopping cart – they pulled all summer/spring prints from the website. That should mean they are taking inventory and getting ready for the sale. I agree with Nat, managed to avoid the TB and KS sales so I could indulge in Lilly!!
