With school starting soon, we’ve definitely been trying to squeeze in some fun activities this past week! So many children I know started earlier this week. I kind of would rather have mine start earlier in the Fall, and get out earlier for the summer. Wheeler’s last day of school is somewhere around June 10th.
On Thursday, we headed out to my friend’s lake house. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the occasion.
The kids must’ve jumped off the dock at least fifty times. I know the girls can swim in the pool, but lakes still scare me, so I had them wear their swimmies the whole time. Clearly they didn’t seem to mind it.

Paddle Boarding is awesome! The girls were surprisingly very still on the board. I guess they knew what would happen if they moved. Can you tell how relaxed Effie was?
And you know I couldn’t end the trip without a few jumps off the top deck. So fun!

My sweet Vaughn is growing up. Can’t wait to have more one-on-one time with him once school starts. He definitely deserves it. // My Horse Sweatshirt
On Friday, we visited my sister. Things got a little crazy on her bed.

On Saturday night, Lanier and I attended a Fiesta at our friends’ house. I hate that I didn’t take more pictures. They went all out, and even had a margarita machine!
As I mentioned yesterday, it was hard to celebrate Lanier’s birthday since he was studying most of the day. But I couldn’t help but bring him so brain fuel for breakfast. Bojangle’s – his favorite!
My nephew (my sister-in-law’s son) was in town yesterday, at my inlaws. The boys were too funny interacting with him. Logan kept patting him on the head.
And he kept trying to climb up on Vaughn, which Vaughn didn’t quite understand.

Yesterday, the girls were so excited to finally get to go to Chuck E. Cheese! I’m not kidding when I say they played on almost everything they had there. Wheeler had in mind that she would get to trade in her tickets to get cotton candy – she said she had a dream about it. Unfortunately, they didn’t have cotton candy so instead after we left Chuck E. Cheese, we headed to the drug store nearby and bought cotton candy lollipops. They were happy! // Effie’s Shoes // There are Little Lilly Shifts still available during the Lilly Sale that ends today. After all the other children went to bed, Wheeler gave Lanier her gifts she made. Let’s just say she won the award for the most thoughtful gifts for her dad on his birthday. Can’t wait to celebrate him more tonight! He definitely deserves it!

The fabric is so great on these shorts. Love the eyelet and scallop detail. These are also not see-through at all, like other white shorts can be.
This pretty Valencia Top would go with everything. This model here is definitely selling it for me. Or maybe it’s just that I want to be where she’s standing.

I think this dress would go with so much and could carry you into the Fall with fun tall boots and a pretty necklace. And maybe even throwing this cardigan in Heathered Wheat over it.

Ashley the caftan was actually part of the flash sale yesterday. After I had already done some serious damage I ended up caving and got the Janice from the flash sale today and a dress for my 2 year old. Yikes! $$$$
