Wednesday Whereabouts: E’s Bday, Lilly RLL

It’s E’s Birthday!  She turned the big 2, today, and we’ve been having a wonderful birthday week so far.  The weather was beautiful again yesterday, in the low 70’s, so after the girls got up from their naps, we played in the leaves in our pajamas.  And E celebrated her birthday a day early yesterday, with her classmates, since she doesn’t go to school on Wednesdays.  Enjoy the photos, and hope y’all have a wonderful Wednesday!

You’d like to think W was trying to help her daddy…she was actually trying to take the leaves back out, so they could still play in them.

While W was in school today, E, L and I made it over to the Discovery Place.  It was a great place to run around, while the rain poured outside.  We also ordered her birthday cake for her party on Saturday – Diego and Dora, of course!

except it was more like “Fa Neyo, Mama.”
We always save the water table for last.  Can you tell she was having a good time?

Tonight, we’re heading over to Kabuto’s, a Japanese steakhouse.  The girls have never been, so we thought it’d be fun to celebrate E’s special day, while we’re entertained by the chef’s volcanos, flying shrimp, etc.  We’ll see how it goes!  My mother and mother-in-law will be there, too.  My father-in-law had already made other plans for tonight, and my dad’s on trauma call, so they’ll have to miss it.  Please say a quick prayer, that none of us singe our eyebrows!
