Tuesday Trends: Whereabouts and Giveaway Winner

My apologies for not posting a How I Do It segment and a winner of the Southern Nest giveaway, yesterday.  I ending up having a rather interesting afternoon, and didn’t get a chance to finish the post.  Needless to say, I’ll save it for next Monday.  So, here’s what happened…

Yes, that’s little E’s chin.  Yesterday afternoon, we were playing in L’s room, and she tripped on something on the floor and fell into the side of the bed.  As soon as she did it, I knew it need stitches, so I phoned my dad (a surgeon), and he came over.  Thankfully, it didn’t bleed too much, because it was a clean cut, so she didn’t freak out.  She was so brave, and only cried when he actually did the stitching.
The hubs took the children fishing this past Sunday, and they had a blast, even with it being 23 degrees when they left…more like ice fishing.  They didn’t catch anything.  I know you’re shocked.
Their favorite thing is playing on the Mule anyway.  They go to my dad’s land, about an hour and a half away from here.
While they were gone on Sunday, I had some down time with my sweet boys.
Speaking of little V, he’s being baptized this Sunday.  Here’s what the children will be wearing…
I watched the Women Tell All last night.  Did you?  What did you think?  I still can’t believe Tierra showed up.  For those that watch, do you think she’s really engaged??

  1. Love the outfits for baptism. Classic and perfect. Poor E! My little E had to have stiches last year after a nasty cut from a fall at a store. You just feel so bad for them because if you think about it stiches are a bit crazy! You are lucky to have a skilled doctor on call! 🙂

  2. At least you didn't have to go to the dirty ER, but I hate she had to get stitches. I watched WTA and definitely think the ring is as fake as AshLee's boobs.

  3. Poor E, but it's so nice that your dad was able to fix it from home. I hope she's feeling much better! Your children's church outfits are absolutely adorable.

  4. Awwww poor little E! And love the outfits! I don't believe Tierra… if it was truly real she would of brought him on the show. She seemed so awkward and unbelievable. I also don't know what to think about Ashlee's comments about what Sean said to her… how dramatic.

  5. Poor girl! That is so nice that your dad could come fix her right up! My grandfather was a surgeon, and he was always helping mama out when my brother and I would get into scrapes. Love the baptism outfits- so classic.
