Lilly Pulitzer Rousseau’s 80th birthday is coming up! To celebrate, the lovely Lilly lovers and ambassadors, Barbara Malone, Mary Lane and Lisa Stuart are organizing a Preppy American Birthday Brunch on November 12th in Delray, Florida, that will benefit the Museum of Lifestyle and Fashion History. The event will include a fashion show, silent auction and gift bag. Gordon of In the Pink will lead us all in a chorus of “Happy Birthday” to our beloved icon – Lilly Pulitzer! I wish I could attend, but having a newborn, and wee ones, I’m sad I’ll have to miss it.
There is also a birthday card for Lilly, which is a great opportunity for those who cannot attend the celebration, but would like to send birthday wishes to Lilly.

Help celebrate the woman who started it all! Even if you can’t be there in person, you can wish Lilly a Happy Birthday in the official birthday card. Please send your good wishes as a word document (color and photos are acceptable) to lillybirthday@gmail.com. Send $10.00 for each submission to the paypal account of the same address. All proceeds over the cost of the production of the card will be donated to the charity of Lilly’s choice. Please email lillybirthday@gmail.com with any questions. So, will you be attending??
