Tuesday Trends: I’ve Been Tagged

Trish, over at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover has tagged me for a fun questionnaire.  Love her images she always finds, and she is just the happiest person.  If you need some optimism, head on over to her blog.

Favorite color?
Pink
Favorite restaurant?
1900 Mexican Grille
Hobbies?
Running, Tennis, Playing with Girls, Blogging, Organizing, Vacationing (does that one count?)

What does your room look like?

Very neutral, waiting on the next move, before actually decorating our master bedroom more.
We’ve lived in the current house for 3 years, and have moved our bedroom location three times!
It is very similar to this room, but without the amazing floor-length door/window.
If you could have dinner with two people, dead or alive, who would they be?
My grandfather and grandmother, Pop and Mimi (back before Mimi started getting sick).  They are both deceased now.  I would have loved for my girls to have known her when she was younger and so full of life.  And it just wouldn’t be right to have her there, without Pop too.  🙂
What is your next big splurge?
Hmmm, that’s a tough one.  Unfortunately, I can’t think of one right now.  Boring, right?
Anything else you would like known (a random fact)?
Some readers may know this already, but I am the oldest of six girls.  My mom had all of us within 9 1/2 years.  I would love to follow in her footsteps, but the hubs wouldn’t approve.  A little too much money.
Can you just imagine, all of the weddings?  So far, my parents have knocked out three of us, now just three more to go.
All of us, last August 2009, at Debordieu Beach.
L to R: #3, Mama, Me (5 months pregnant), #5, #2 (7 months pregnant, holding W), #6, Daddy and #4
Hope y’all have a wonderful Tuesday!

  1. So much fun! I've never been tagged but it looks interesting! Love that you'd have dinner with your grandparents, nice answer! Happy Tuesday!

  2. Very cute! I am jealous that your undecorated master looks so similar to that pic (sans the doors)… mine is scary compared to that!! Although, we just hit 1 year in this house… so everything is still a work in progress.

  3. Love the family picture of your parents and sisters! I think it would have been fun to have at least one sister! Instead my mum had a boy… a trouble maker pain in the booty boy!

    xo

  4. That must have been so crazy growing up with five sisters. I didn't even have one, just three brothers. And now I have three sons, a testament to the fact that God has a sense of humor. 😉

  5. Wow! I look huge there! The pic and message about Mimi and Pop about made me cry! I miss both of them so much! Love you!

  6. I love that picture with you and your family. Your mother looks so young! Until I saw the caption, I was looking at that photo trying to figure out which one was your mom because she blends right in with the sisters.

  7. i never knew you had so many sisters! what a sweet picture of your family! this cute post made my tuesday better already! xoxo

  9. Ashley, your mom looks like one of your sisters! Before I read the caption, I couldn't figure out which one was your mom. You're all so adorable. Vacationing is one of my favorite hobbies too! Haha. Hope you had a great weekend.
