Thirsty Thursday: Elderflower Gin Martini + Shopping for a Cause

As promised earlier this week, here’s the yummy cocktail I enjoyed last Thursday at GOODFOOD on Montford.  So tasty that I had two!  Talk about a smooth, delicious drink.  Enjoy!

Elderflower Gin Martini

1 Shot Bombay Sapphire Gin
1/3 Shot St. Germain
1 Shot Dolin Rouge Vermouth
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Lemon Rind for garnish
Stir well with ice, and strain into a martini glass.  Garnish with a lemon rind.
Cheers to a Happy Halloween!

About a week ago, I had a small feature on Baublebar’s blog, The Post.  That’s me in the orange, surrounded by my five younger sisters…
I’ll be sure and post pictures of all the kiddos in their Halloween costumes soon!  The girls both have Halloween parades at school this morning, and I’m in charge of W’s Class Halloween Party directly after that.  All of the hostesses have to dress-up.  I wasn’t too creative, but a black cat I will be.  For up-to-the-minute SSP happenings, follow me on Instagram @sweetsouthernprep.
Y’all have fun tonight and be safe!
