The Paloma Cocktail + OOTN + Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Start Date Confirmed!

Last night, I headed out with girlfriends to a couple of spots around town. The Westendorff that just opened up on St. Philip Street a few weeks ago was my absolute favorite! From their oyster po’boy sliders and gnudi to their amazing fries and spare ribs, let’s just say I’m definitely going back their again soon! Everything on their cocktail list looked amazing too. I wanted to try them all! I went with the Paloma and it was delicious!

While there weren’t exact measurements on The Westendorff’s version, I found a similar one here.

The Paloma

1 1/2 shots of reposado tequila (or any good quality blanco)

juice of half a ruby grape fruit

1/2 shot of agave syrup or sugar syrup

75ml club soda

fresh lime juice

Salt rim of glass.

Mix the grapefruit juice, tequila and sugar syrup until well blended.

Pour over a tall glass filled with ice and top up with soda water.

Add a splash of lime juice.

I know I’ve been posting about this clutch a lot lately, but I seriously do love it. And when I brought it with me out last night, I received so many compliments on it. I know their summer sale ended last week, but this one is still in their sale section. From $170 to $102. Not sure how many more they have in stock, but trust me, you will love it.

After yesterday’s post, I received a few confirmation emails from some SSP readers letting me know that my prediction of when the Lilly Sale will start is indeed correct! Mums the word over at the Lilly Pulitzer Headquarters for now, but I’m sure details will be coming over the weekend via their social media accounts. Can’t believe how hush hush they’re being about the sale this time. But I’m not complaining. They’re the BEST to offer such awesome sales like this one!
