We had the best weekend! I’ll share more pics of Logan’s birthday boat day with you on tomorrow’s post. On Sunday, I took three of the kids to see The Little Mermaid at The Dock Street Theater. If you’re local or are in town visiting, go see a show there, it’s the most amazing venue. Not a bad seat in the house! Logan decided not to go at the last minute, so Lanier happily stayed home. Ha. As for The Little Mermaid, it was amazing! If you have little ones, they’ll love it! It runs one more week.
My dress I wore yet again is now on sale! Wore sandals with it on Sunday, but I love it paired with these wedges too, and they’re currently on sale also!
Afterward, we wandered around a very quiet downtown. So deserted here on a Sunday evening.
So cool, right? I’ve been wanting to get her a pic under this awning and it finally happened! Her cute dress is on sale.
I’d never been to Fleet Landing before, so I was excited to try it out. A perfect spot for waterfront dining!
Vaughn and his place setting. How pretty is that view? There is outside seating available too.
My favorite dish of the evening: Stuffed Hush Puppies (filled with a lobster, shrimp, leeks, and corn over creole tomato sauce). Yum!
The Southern Women’ Show is this weekend (Sept 22-24) at the Charleston Convention Center! For more details, head over here. Also, if you’d like to receive 50% off your ticket, head here and enter code: SAVE50.
Since Logan’s birthday fell on a Saturday this year, Lanier and I had to wait until Monday to celebrate his birthday lunch with him at school. I think he was just a little excited to have us there to visit him.
Holding on to the last days of summer, wearing white shorts. Absolutely LOVE this striped top. It’s long enough to cover your rear, it’ll be great for layering later and it comes in six other colors too: black, black/white stripe, burgundy, green, grey and white. Oh yeah, and did I mention it’s only $19?! // Paired it here with these shorts (on sale) and these sandals.
I also plan to wear this top with jeans too.
And I couldn’t resist getting it in the black/white stripe too. The price is so good, I may go back and order other colors too!
I’ve had a few of you ask lately how I get my waves in my hair. I’m loyal to this beachwaver! Use it after I blow dry and it only takes me ten minutes to style!
Happy Tuesday, Y’all!
Fleet Landing is my favorite place to eat when we go to Charleston!! Their shrimp and grits is incredible!
