Nordstrom Sale Fit Guide on Faves + More Sales: Anthropologie, Barrington Gifts, Serena & Lily + The J.Crew Vest is Back!

 

I’ve received many of my orders and wanted to let y’all know how some of my favorites are fitting.  And I’m not going to lie, some of these have been so hard to try on with how hot it is outside.  But I know it’ll be worth it once it gets cooler and I’ll have so many of these fun pieces that I scored at great prices!

TOMS Desert Wedge

First off, these wedges are the best!  So happy with how well these fit and very comfortable.  So excited to break these out when the weather cools.

Fit is true to size.

Hinge Ombré Cape
This cape is a great length and such a great price.  A perfect throw-on this Fall/Winter.  Love the ombré color.  It’s only one size, so it’ll fit an array of body types.

Frye Billy Short Boot
So I absolutely loved these when I tried them on!  They run a little big.  I tried on my regular 8.5s and the 8s fit better.  Keep in mind, they’re leather, so they’ll stretch out a little too.  These are selling out quickly.

Zella Socks
I was more than happy to stock up on these, especially while they’re on sale!

Hinge Fringe Faux Suede Jacket
This one looks so much more expensive in person than the sale price shows.  It does run a little small, so if you’re between sizes, go up a size.

The beauty exclusives during the anniversary sale are selling out quickly.  I was going to tell y’all how much I loved this YSL Lip Stain Set, but it’s sadly already sold out.  This set of lip glazes is a steal!  Would make a great gift too!

Trouvé Drape Leather Jacket
This is a fabulous jacket.  Looks and feels so smooth and sleek.  One thing to note is that it runs small.  I would recommend going up a size.  It’s already sold out in the tan color, but the black is still available.

Totally missed this Tory Burch Dress the first time I looked through the sale.  This would be so pretty this Fall with heels, boots, flats, etc.  I got a similar quilted Tory Burch Boot last year, and can’t wait to wear them again when the weather cools.  The boots featured here are on sale too.  This dress runs a little small, but has a great weight.  Love the sleeves on it too.

If you’re still trying to narrow down your cart, or re-visiting the sale to see what else you need, remember it all ends August 3rd when the prices go back up.  Think Christmas gifts, even stocking stuffers.  I know last year I purchased so many things that I ended up giving as Christmas gifts last year, especially the candles.  They make great hostess gifts too.  Check out all of my favorites here.

J.Crew’s Excursion Vests are back!  So excited about the colors this year.  I swear I have a mini collection of them, but that’s seriously all I wear when the weather cools – a button-down top and a quilted vest.  Last year, the ivory color was one of the most popular colors – very similar to this year’s bleached sand.  Would be really pretty paired with any of these tops (all on sale).  J.Crew Factory also carries them.

J.Crew keeps bringing back their classics.  Just like the ‘now new again’ Tortoise Floral Necklace I wore last week, that I purchased last summer from J.Crew, they brought back this Wreath Necklace above too.  The prettiest pop of color to add to any outfit!  FYI, the Tortoise Floral Necklace must have been pretty popular when it was re-introduced, it’s now on backorder until early September!

You know how much I love my J.Crew 3″ Chino Shorts.  Well, they just came out with this pretty pink color, so I naturally had to order a pair!
