Happy Monday! OOTDs + Old Navy Holiday Faves + A Dress on Sale

Happy Monday, y’all!  Found this pic while going through our Halloween pics from Friday.  My sweet little boys.  For more pics from our Halloween, check out Saturday’s post here.

From Friday night until Saturday evening, it rained here.  I felt like it was time to break out the red Hunters for the holiday season.  The green accented umbrella was a purposeful holiday touch!  Oh, and these leggings are BEYOND comfy!  My go-to raincoat has been this one for the past few years.

Vaughn has really gotten into coloring lately.  These are his sweet little snakes and every time he would draw a line in a different color he was say, “Nay-kuh.  Right now, he favors his left hand.  His glow-in-the-dark space shirt is on sale from crewcuts.

Vaughn always wants me to draw him babies.  Wheeler decided to help out and draw some for him too.

Loving on NOW 8 year-old Boozer!

Until I saw this photo again did I realize Effie was wearing Wheeler’s rain boots.  She has lady bug ones that fit her, but she wanted Wheeler’s so bad when I got them for Wheeler.  They’re probably a little too big, but she was so happy and that’s all that mattered.  Currently sold out, but I love these too. // Effie’s Leggings (on sale) // Effie’s Widgeon Coat is sold out in purple, but they have a pretty light pink and hot pink one available.  My boys also have this light blue one and it’s currently on sale for $29.

Yesterday was the perfect weather to wear some riding boots!  Sunny, but COLD!
Tory Burch Simone Cardigan (similar color here) // Tory Burch Claremont Quilted Boots // Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Bone (always my base and perfect to wake up tired eyes) // Kate Spade Flower Studs // My striped dress is old, but here are some other striped dresses that are really cute…

To end the weekend, I had a nice bowl full of delicious chili! // Plum Pretty Sugar PJs
My OOTD this Morning
Gap Fur-Trim Puffer – It was 30 degrees out, so I was DEFINITELY wearing this coat to work-out this morning!  I also have this Patagonia one which has been my go-to the past two winters, but I think this one has been fun to wear this past week with the lower temps and I love the fur hood and it’s so cozy.  Currently on sale!
Wrap It Up Sweater – This wrap sweater is EVERYTHING!  It’s super soft, the color is just right and the little patches on the elbows are the perfect touch.
Ugg Boots – So I know they’re not super trendy anymore, but the comfort clearly outweighs the style sense here.  I love throwing these on in cold weather.
Work-out Leggings – Love these so much!

I posted this dress as a great idea for a holiday dress in this post last week.  It’s now 40% off.  If you did purchase it full-price last week, no worries.  Nordstrom offers has a price adjustment policy.  You have within two weeks after your purchase to adjust the price, if it goes on sale.

Old Navy has lots of really cute holiday pieces they just revealed.  Use code: SAVE and take 25% off your purchase.  This scarf above is so festive!

And I love this plaid coat too.  On sale for $42.

I guess you could say I’m on a red kick with the holiday season here.  I just ordered these little cardigans for the girls from Mini Boden, to wear over their little Christmas dresses during the holidays.

I posted this pic of the kids all bundled up this morning, and had a few emails asking for more details about their coats.  These Patagonia coats are amazing!  They’re super lightweight for how insulating they are, and if you order a size bigger, they’re sure to last your child at least two seasons.  These are all of theirs from last season!  Logan wouldn’t stand for the pic of course, but his is green.  I ordered the girls gender neutral colors so they could be passed down to the boys when they outgrow them.  But this pink one is so pretty too.  The girls’ booties are Tucker + Tate.

I hope y’all have a great start to your first week of November!

  1. Great costumes for the kids. We had rain this weekend too, sadly it often fell as snow. Oh well, Fall comes the same time every year and we dress accordingly in our plaid and Tory boots.
