Since I haven’t done this in awhile, I thought I’d share a ‘Loving Lately’ post with you.  Some of these pieces I’ve loved wearing this summer and many are transitional enough to carry you into the Fall when the weather cools.

Blue Tassel Top

I know a lot of times, white is hard to wear as it can be see-through.  The material of this top, while it’s still breathable, is a little heavier and more opaque.  Just love how it fits too.  The length is a little longer which I like.

Sleeveless Eyelet Dress

I was so surprised at how well this dress fit!  I was worried it would be too short from the pics.  But I’m 5’6″ and it’s just right.  Loving that it’s not as fitted, too.

Yellow Blouson Sleeve Top

This one was so popular that it sold out very quickly at Nordstrom.  Lucky for you, I found it still available in all sizes here.  Trust me, it’s a good one.  A great transitional piece too.

Blue Tie Waist Dress

Wore this for the first time last week and received so many compliments on it.  Love that you can cinch in the waist as much or little as you’d like.  For fit, it runs a little big.  Go down one size.

Striped Knit Dress

This is the softest toss-on knit dress!  Love that it’s a little different too.  The back is a different striping than the front.  I got the girls the matching dresses.

Maxi Dress

Can’t say enough amazing things about this maxi!  It’s the softest material and fits so well.  You can adjust the straps and the tie to loosen or tighten it however you like.  I’m 5’6″ and can wear it with flats.  For fit, it’s pretty true to size.

Striped Long-Sleeve Pullover

I don’t know about you, but I’m always up for a comfy toss-on shirt, and this one is just that.  I sized up to a medium for a comfy, looser fit.

Printed Wrap Skirt

Whether for work or play, this is such a cute skirt.  Pair it with a collared crispy white top to dress-up for work or an evening out, or toss on a white v-neck tee to dress it down.

Seersucker Cover-Up

I love this cover-up so much that I wore both Saturday and Sunday on the boat!  The performance fabric is awesome!  Even when I put it back on after swimming, it dried so quickly!

Striped Hoodie Dress

This dress is a new arrival from Lou & Grey, now carried at Nordstrom!  When school starts back, I’m always up for finding clothes that I can just pick up and go.  And I think this one will be just that, for everything from carpool to errands.

Knit Sleeveless Dress

There’s just something about a simple knit dress.  Just toss on and go.  This one is the perfect weight and will be great to layer under jackets when the weather cools.

Crossback Tank

I’m always looking for cute work-out tanks and this one had me at hot pink.  The crossback is really cute too.

Luxletic Tank

I have a few tops in Lilly’s Luxletic line and love how they feel when working out.  They’re super soft and are available in such fun colors.  This style has a little swing at the bottom which I love.  Have it in green, but love the blue too.

Heathered Crossbank Tank

Another work-out tank I’ve loved wearing this summer is this style.  A great lightweight fabric and perfect for running.  Not too fitted which is always a plus in my book.  Comes in three colors and currently available in all sizes.

Floral Cover-Up/Dress

So I got this thinking I’d just wear it as a cover-up, but didn’t realize the material is actually a little heavier, so much that it can be worn as a dress too.  Such a fun print too!

I cannot believe Fall starts in a little over a month and school starts THIS Monday!  I know it’ll be good to get back to a routine and everything, but y’all don’t know how much I love summer.  Or maybe you do, guessing from this season’s pics.  I just love the extra time I get at home with the kiddos so much.  And every school year means they’re one more year closer to finishing.  Sigh.  I know it’s inevitable, but just so bittersweet.  And Vaughn, my baby, starts kindergarten?!  Can’t begin to think about that just yet.  Needless to say, I’ll be soaking in this last week of extra family time as much I can!

Happy Tuesday!

  1. I just adore your style! It boggles my mind that I don’t know you personally, but you’ve given me so many fashion recommendations. There are a lot of fashion bloggers out there, but I like your picks the very best! Thanks for helping to keep this mom of 3 {somewhat} stylish!!
