My parents have been recovering from the flu, so we had to postpone my sister’s gender reveal party on Friday night to today! We’re all wearing what color we think the baby will be. I mentioned it on Friday, but this will be my parents’ eleventh grandchild with Wheeler being the oldest at 6. This baby will offset girls vs. boys. The last two were boys. We’re all so excited to see what she’s having!! The above pic is from the last gender reveal party we had for another one of my sisters last year. Can you tell my brother-in-law was just a little excited they were having a boy?! For the entire post, check it out here.
Can you guess what I think the baby will be from my OOTD??

Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Top in Paws Off (currently sold out, but hopefully available during the Lilly Sale) // AG The Stilt Distressed Jeans in 17-Year Riot // Hunter Rain Boots in Lipstick Pink (sold out, similar here) // Patagonia Rain Jacket // Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace in Magenta // Michael Kors Bradshaw Watch (on sale)
If you missed my post yesterday on everything you need to know about Lilly Pulitzer’s After Party Sale starting TOMORROW, the most important thing to do now is to create an account beforehand. Click here for simple step-by-step instructions on how to set up an account. You will not be able to log in to your account between 7am and 8am tomorrow morning, so make sure and create an account before then. And if you already have an account, I would still check it and make sure it’s up-to-date with your newest address and credit card number.
A few more last-minute tips to prep you for the sale:
I’ve had readers ask what items will be part of this sale. Be prepared to see lots of items from any of the past seasons. Lilly will also have a great ACCESSORIES SECTION with Lilly prints on things from tablecloths to scarves. Many of these novelty items go quickly because they’re so unique and are marked down so much. Be sure and check them out too. Many of them make great gifts too!
After you place your order, you may see a charge on your credit card, even when your order is showing as STILL PROCESSING. If your order hasn’t yet shipped, you’re seeing a pre-authorization hold. Lilly won’t actually charge your card until your order has left their warehouse. This pre-authorization hold acts as a placeholder to ensure there are adequate funds in your account before your items are sent out. Hope that makes sense!
Why Lilly now? In January? If you’re like me, now that Christmas is over I’m already dreaming of warmer weather. I love ordering pieces that I’ll be excited to wear this SUMMER. And the best part is that they’re on sale right now! I know I’ve said it before, but that’s why I stock up on Little Lilly Dresses now for the girls. And whose to say you can’t wear Lilly all year long? I know my Elsa Tops are always in regular rotation. Lilly does have one other big sale this year, but you’ll have to wait until summer is almost over to shop it, so go ahead and stock up on your summer faves now!
Speaking of ELSA TOPS, I’ve had some readers ask how they run. I’m a 4/6 and wear a Small in them. They also make great maternity tops, as they’re flowy and not too fitted. I wore mine a lot during my pregnancies. I just went up to a size Medium in them.
Just a reminder to check back in the morning, while you’re waiting for the sale to start. I’ll be sharing a GIVEAWAY with you, as well as pulling previous pics of me and my girls in our Lilly. As items are posted in the sale, I’ll try my best to give you a fit guide and more info on sizing and how different styles run. And just like the last sale, I’ll be updating my post throughout the day with my favorites from different sections.
