I’ve had some SSP readers ask if I’d update you on my work-out routine and how it’s been going this summer. Â The last time I posted about my work-out routine was back in March. Â You can read that post here. // I got this Nike tank during the Anniversary Sale and love the style of it. Â It’s long enough to cover your rear too! Â I paired it with this new Lulu style sports bra. Â It has great coverage and loving the color too – Cherry Blossom Pink. Â Some of y’all asked what treatment I have on my hair in this pic. Â It’s my weekly Olaplex treatment.
Honestly, since we’ve been out of town so much this summer, it’s been hard to attend my regular barre classes consistently. Â I’ve mostly just been running when I can, but nothing routine. Â I’m hoping that with school starting next week I’ll get organized and make a plan.
My latest fave has been Orange Theory. Â I’d heard friends rave about it before, but the only one in Charleston was in West Ashley. Â Recently, they brought a new one to Mount Pleasant and I gave it a try and absolutely loved it! Â I love the atmosphere and how organized it is. Â If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend you trying it out. Â I’ve only been a few times, but like I said before, I’m hoping to get a more organized schedule down when school starts again. Â Have any of y’all tried it before? Â What did you think?
In a perfect world, I’d love to go to Orange Fitness three mornings a week and then barre two days a week. Â On the weekends, I plan on running. Â We’ll see how it goes! Â School starts Thursday. Â I’ll probably start it next Sunday or Monday. Â What have y’all been doing and loving? // Tank // Sports Bra // Shorts // Shoes // Headphones
I know my Lulu addicts have been asking for a post dedicated to my favorite new styles and colors. Â For one thing, these leggings were just restocked in more colors. Â They sold out in black and navy in a hot minute earlier this year. Â For fit, they do run small. Â But they’re awesome and suck you in in all the right places. Â Definitely go up at least one size.
I love the cutout detail on this style tank! Â Looks like it fits a little on the looser side, which is my fave too!
It’s no secret that these jackets are probably my favorite zip-up. Â They’re great for tossing on before and after work-outs and during a run when the weather cools. Â Depending on how you like to wear yours, I don’t like mine too fitted so I always size up. Â Love this new blue color.
Of all the sports bras out there, this style is by far my favorite! Â If you’re looking for more coverage, try the Energy Bra. Â This is the Razzle color. Â If you’re between sizes, size up.
Hands down, my favorite work-out shorts ever. Â I seriously wear them every single time I work out. Â Love that they’re always coming out with more colors. Â If this is your first pair, go with the black. Â Trust me, you’ll love them!
Along with Lulu, I’m loving this breathable Nike tank. Â It still stays pretty hot around Charleston in early Fall, so I’m always looking for lightweight tanks to toss on. Â This top fits the bill just perfectly.
Another great toss-on when the weather cools is this wrap cardigan. Â Not too light, not too heavy.
These leggings are so different than your usual solid color leggings. Â With the black at the top and color toward the bottom, they’d be so flattering.
I got these running shoes during the Anniversary Sale and have worn them a few times and really like them. Â I’ve worn Nike running shoes ever since I can remember, and these are the newest update!
As for tennis, I’ll be starting on two different teams in just a few weeks and cannot wait! Â I was shopping around for new tennis dresses and came across these. Â There are even more colors than just the ones above too, and many are on sale. Â I have a few Nike Tennis Dresses that I absolutely love, so I’m hoping these fit the same. Â Based on reviews they are, so we’ll see. Â Love that they’re fitted at the top, but have a slight A-line shape and are a little more loose at the bottom.
We had the most beautiful weather on the beach yesterday, savoring our last weekend of summer before school starts back! Â Can’t believe our summer days are about to end. Â But it will be nice to have some structure again. Â I hope y’all have a great start to your week!
Love all the suggested tanks and bottoms for workout gear. I do OT here in Huntsville and love it. I haven’t gotten the confidence yet to try the 90 min class but I love the regular 60 minute one. They are always different and leave me sore in good way!
90 minutes?! I didn’t even know that existed! Wow!
LOVE Orange Theory – really motivating and it’s really helped define my arm and back muscles especially! I go 3x per week in the mornings and am obsessed! Enjoy!
