Fall Outfit Ideas with Pops of Pink + For a Cozy, Fall Morning + Vaughn’s 3rd Birthday!

My love for pink this fall continues!  I’ve put together two outfits, each with a pop of pink!  Everything else I’ve included is pretty neutral, that you can mix and match with so many other colors, as well.

On a cozy fall morning…
The softest cardigan to wrap yourself up in!  Trust me, you won’t want to take it off.

Wore it yesterday, celebrating Boozer’s 9th birthday!
Still can’t believe he’s 9?!
I’m always a sucker for J.Crew pj pants and these flannel ones are amazingly soft!
For sizing, I’m an 8.5 and wear a 9 in these.
As the weather gets colder, I love having cute thermal mugs to take with me in the car driving the kids to school and running errands.  Ever since Lanier gave me my espresso machine for my birthday last December, he still loves making my coffee every morning.
Tory Burch’s Private Sale is still going on!
There isn’t much left, but I do love these two wedges below…
I realize these are super quirky, but I’ve eyed them ever since they came out this summer.  I think they’d be so cute paired with so much, especially white next year.  Consider saving them for Memorial Day or the 4th of July?
I cannot tell you how often I still wear these wedges.  My logo is a little different, but it’s basically the same style shoe.  I still love them so much that I’m always surprised that she doesn’t carry more recent styles in these.  Trust me, they’re so easy to toss on, they’re neutral and add a great height to any outfit.  For sizing, they’re true to size.  They’re currently on sale, available in all sizes and ship for free!
My baby turns 3 today!  Snapped these pics this morning before school.  It’s hard to put into words how this makes me feel.  Like my other children, he’s just so sweet and loving.  And like most boys, he loves his trucks, dinosaurs, trains and books…but his love for animals makes his eyes light up.  He’d hug and kiss on them all day if they’d let him.  So many people we meet say he should be a politician because of his ability to socialize with almost anyone.  He’ll say ‘hey’ to every stranger on the street.  Of course to him, they’re not strangers at all.  They’re all his friends.  I know it’s inevitable that he’s going to keep getting older, but to me, he’ll always be my baby.  And nothing will ever change that.
This evening I’m heading out of town for a girls’ weekend away.  It’s actually not as far this year, as it was last year before we moved.  Can’t wait to catch up with old friends I haven’t seen in way too long!  The place we stay is absolutely beautiful – like Nicholas Sparks constructed it and put it in the middle of one of his novels – beautiful.  Some of you that have been reading for awhile probably remember my pics from the last time we went, last year.  I’ll be sure and take just as many pics this year, if not more!
Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!
TGIF!

  1. This is so sweet. I've been following your blog forever and I cannot believe Vaughn is 3! My oldest turned 3 in September and I always love to see what Vaughn is doing because it reminds me of my little boy, Bear. Thanks for sharing these sweet pictures:))
