Disney Trip: Day One

After a fun overnight stay at a waterpark in Orlando (head back to this post to check out the splash parks), we checked into our Disney resort on Sunday.  We stayed at Art of Animation and absolutely LOVED it!

Super pumped to see their room!

We stayed in a Cars themed room and the boys were in heaven.  As I’ve mentioned before, we took the girls about five years ago and everything for them was princesses.  So this time, they knew this trip was for the boys and they were totally okay with it.

They loved that the table changed into a bed each night.

Our view.

When we headed to the pool that day, we visited all of the life-size cars from the movie.  They’re all just sitting outside around the resort.  We frequented them a lot throughout the week, as they were always on our walk back to our room.

How cute is this Lilly print?  I’m wearing this cover-up.  And the girls are wearing this one.  I picked up these pink slides for the girls right before our trip. // Sunnies // Flip Flops

You don’t know how happy we were to being wearing swimsuits!  Lanier was sweet to agree to match me.  My bottoms have great rear coverage and the top has padding.  I’m sure many of you could fill it out better than me, but it’s a great fit and you can adjust the knot in front to whatever’s a good fit for you.  Lanier’s wearing these trunks and this performance tee.  He loves these, especially on boat days.

The boys being boys in the cutest little swim trunks.

Vaughn checking out Mater’s dental work.

How cute are the girls’ suits?  Effie’s wearing this one (it’s like getting two for one since it’s reversible).  Wheeler’s wearing this top and this bottom.  Love the back!

The girls having a blast at the splash park!  This pool at our resort is the biggest one on Disney property.  And there are lifeguards everywhere.  I think I counted six at this pool all working at the same time.

They were in heaven!

When I asked them to pose.  Haha.

On Sunday evening, we got all washed up and took the boat over to Fort Wilderness for dinner.  It was the perfect time to go.  The sunset was beautiful.  It reminded how much we miss being on our boat in the winter.

My sweet Logan Bear.

A view of the monorail and Magic Kingdom.

Yum!

We loved the Hoop Dee Doo Revue so much when we took the girls on our last trip that we knew we wanted to do it again with the boys.  And even though it had been five years since we took the girls, we couldn’t believe that some of the cast members were the same!

Playing on her washboard.

And just like last time, as we boarded the boat to head back to our resort, we got to watch the fireworks.

All in all, it was a perfect first day in Disney! // I’m wearing this tee and this necklace, the girls are wearing these dresses (they’re oldies but goodies, but I did find one here) and the boys’ outfits are by Shrimp & Grits.

As many of you requested, I’ll be sharing each day in Disney with you, what I wore, where we went, what we ate and our itinerary of rides.  Hope you enjoy!

Oh, and I just found these dresses in one of my fave prints on sale!  Get them before they’re gone!

Don’t forget you can always shop all of our latest looks here.  Just click on the image you like and everything is there for you to shop!

Hope y’all are having a great week so far!
