With the weather finally cooling off here, I’ve been craving a warm cocktail. This one I found here sounds delicious. I may need to cook this one up soon!
Hot Apple Cider with Rum
Servings: About 8
2 Tsp Whole Cloves
1 Orange, Thinly Sliced
2 Quarts Apple Cider
1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Allspice
Pinch Grated Nutmeg
1 Cup Dark Rum
Cinnamon Sticks, garnish
Stud the apple with cloves.
In a medium pot, combine the studded apple and remaining ingredients, except the rum.
Slowly bring to a simmer over low heat.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the rum.
Discard the apple.
Ladle into mugs and garnish each with a cinnamon stick.

1. Tammy Tunic
Love the length on this one. Perfect to pair with leggings and riding boots.
2. Veta Top
This is the one I featured on yesterday’s post for a pretty girls’ night out top. And now it’s on sale!
3. Lidia Polo
Y’all know how much I love this style top. The ruffled collar adds the prettiest touch of femininity. As it starts getting cooler, pair it with a cardigan, like the Simone.
4. Kasia Tee
Speaking of something to pair with a cardigan or vest. This top would be it!
5. Tanya Top
I’m thinking this top would be perfect for any party around the holidays.
I have a few of these cardigans. They’re so comfortable and the easiest piece to throw on over anything this time of year. If you’ve been thinking of trying one, get one now, while it’s on sale.
Such a classic style that would pair well with any boots in your closet.
8. Azalea Flats
I have a pair of these in purple, and wore them a lot over the holidays last year. They run true to size.
Such a pretty sandal. For all of my readers that don’t have Fall-like weather yet, these are for you!
10. Charlene Sandals
A great neutral sandal, to dress up any outfit.
I hope y’all are having a fabulous Thursday!
Oh yeah, and if you’re looking for the perfect fabric, length, okay everything, striped top, get this Calypso St. Barth Top from Tuckernuck. I got it in the mail yesterday, and cannot wait to wear it! I’m 5’6″ and it’s long enough to cover my back side. Also, I’m 4/6 and went with the Medium. I think the Small would’ve been fine, but I liked the larger fit on this one. The fabric is so silky, but not see-through. Trust me, you’ll LOVE it! And it’s so popular it’s already sold out in the grey stripe, but the oatmeal/navy stripe is still available. It’s great for layering too!
