Happy Friday! So excited that the weekend is finally here! My inlaws came in town yesterday, and my mother-in-law and I took the kids to see Disney Live! They absolutely loved it. Effie was about to jump out of her chair, wishing she could be up on stage too! I hadn’t realized how long it had been since we last saw my inlaws. Too long. Almost two months? Both of their mothers have been in poor health lately, so they’ve been tending to them, which is totally understandable.
Attempting to get a pic of all four of us looking at the same time is never an easy task.
I had a few of you ask where my sunglasses were from on Instagram. They’ve been my favorites for the last few months. Super lightweight too, a great shape and only $69. They’re by Le Specs.
Yesterday’s OOTD
Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Top (Print: Let’s Cha Cha; Fit is true to size, I’m wearing a small.) // Rebecca Minkoff Fringe Crossbody (yet again, seriously loving this one) // Jeans (old, very similar and the same style here) // Tory Burch Slide Wedges (old; have had them for at least three years and still love wearing them, she needs to come out with a new similar pair soon; similar here and here)
I’ve had a few readers ask about the girls’ sparkle shoes. They’re by Morgan & Milo. They’re super comfortable and they’ve been wearing them for years. As their feet grow, it’s always fun to order up and choose new colors. They recently picked out these gold ones above.
But I think they’re absolute favorite ones to wear are their pink ones.
Another question I’ve received a few emails about are the childrens’ Patagonia jackets. Yes, they wear them ALL the time in the winter, and yes, they LOVE them. They’re super lightweight, but very insulating. The boys both have the Peppergrass color above.
But Patagonia recently came out with this neutral Ash Tan color that I’m loving too. I ordered my most recent one from Zappos. If you’ve never ordered from them before, you should. Awesome customer service and their shipping is extremely fast. There have been many times when I placed an order, and received my items the next day. Always free shipping! For fit, I usually go up a size to be safe. Plus, they’ll be able to wear them that much longer.
A few things I’m loving lately…
Love these fringed capes at only $48. A perfect lightweight layer to toss on this time of year.
The color of this embroidered dress would be amazing for summer!
I’m all for some cool sandals, and these gladiator ones look so fun for spring/summer! I’ve been deciding on a pair, but always worry that they’ll start slouching after awhile. These look pretty sturdy and not too pricey.
Since I liked my ‘Happy Camper’ Sweatshirt so much, I went back to check out other shirts by the same designer. Loved this ‘Sunday Morning’ one. Had to share because these message tees have been selling out quickly.
But great news, just checked and my sold out ‘Happy Camper’ sweatshirt was just restocked in all sizes!
Not many sizes left in these Lilly Pulitzer Shorts, but I’ve had mine for a few months and can’t wait to wear them when the weather gets warmer. This has been one of my most recent favorite prints.
Whenever I wear this matte lipstick color in Candy Yum Yum, I receive so many compliments on it. It’s definitely a pop of pink, but it immediately brightens up my face and it looks so good on so many different skin tones. You should give it a try. Oh yeah, and it stays on forever!
So I’ll be using this tonight. Yes, a crimper. If you follow me on Instagram, I’ll be sure and post a pic this evening. If not, it’ll be on the blog soon! Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend! We’re expecting weather in the 70s here. Our heads are spinning with all the possibilities of what we’ll do around town.
TGIF!
I love that PINK Candy Yum Yum lipstick ! It looks like the perfect shade of pink.
