A Christmas Dinner & What I Wore

I’m so happy y’all loved my pics of Christmas in Charleston yesterday!  Next year, I’ll have to remember to take more when I’m out and post a bunch of them for you.  Yesterday, the children and I had fun visiting the Children’s Museum.  They honestly could’ve stayed there all day.  The train display above is at The Belmond Hotel.  If you’re in town, it’s a must visit if you have a little one that loves trains.  Vaughn’s only complaint was that he didn’t get to play with it.  Views from every angle are incredible!

They love popping into the Train Museum on our way to the Children’s Museum.

And Effie’s favorite at the children’s museum has always been the grocery store.

What I Wore

This top is so comfy!  It’s a thin sweatshirt material with a raw-edge hem around the neckline.  // Necklace

The back is my favorite!  And the best part is it’s long enough to cover your rear.  Fit is true to size.

How gorgeous is this table setting?  Our sweet friends hosted a Christmas Supper last night, and I swear the decor was straight out of Southern Living.

What I Wore

So I know I rave about a lot of tops and dresses, okay just about everything, but when I find something amazing, I just have to share.  And this top is it.  Plus, it’s currently on sale for only $47!  Fit is true to size.  I’m wearing a small.  Trust me, it’s even better in person.  The weight of it keeps it from wrinkling, the length is just right and how gorgeous are the sleeves?  It’s also available in black and navy.  Paired here with these jeans (on sale), these heels

…and these striped earrings.  I’m obviously borderline obsessed with this style, this season.

I got this sweatshirt for New Year’s Eve, since we’re usually pretty low-key when we celebrate.  This year we’re spending it at my parents and a few of my sisters and their husbands will be there too.  We did the same thing last year and had a blast!  My dad has always had the best fireworks!  Seriously though, this sweatshirt is the best kind of oversized and so soft.  I got a medium and it hangs just right, doesn’t cinch it at the bottom like many sweatshirts tend to do, and it’s really long too.  Can’t wait to wear it!

I hope y’all are enjoying the holidays!  The weather has made a turn for the better here and we’ve been so happy to see the sun!
