Wednesday Whereabouts

This past weekend, we celebrated Logan’s 5th birthday, and he had a ball!  His actual birthday was on Friday, the 16th.  His little classmates sang him happy birthday, and it was the cutest thing.
Ever since the kids saw a rainbow for the first time last month, we’ve been seeing them all the time.  We saw this on on Friday night, after a quick shower.
Logan asked to go fishing on his birthday, so we did just that.
This little guy would NOT let this fish go!
We caught a trout, two skates and two crabs.  All in all, I’d say that it was a pretty good day!
On Saturday, we headed to a fun park with lots of games and arcades for his party.  He loved every minute of it!  // Posted about my scarf on Monday’s post.
He was pretty excited about his Peanuts/Hulk cake.
Later on that day, we headed up to meet some friends on the beach.  My friend Kristen was sweet enough to surprise Logan with these Spiderman cupcakes!
Love this girl so much!  Our oldest children have known each other since they were first born!
You wouldn’t believe it that it rained downtown while we were out here.  Crazy how the weather is in Charleston!
Headed home.  So grateful to live here! // Striped Tassel Tunic // Pink Tassel Tunic
We had some friends in town from Charlotte that were vacationing here for the week.  It’s always so great to catch up with friends from home!  Logan could fit right in with their two sons.
They’ve never met a pool they didn’t like.
One happy crew!  Effie looks tall here, but she’s still about an inch shorter than Wheeler.
Another beautiful rainbow last night.
An added perk of the boat is getting to capture some pretty amazing pictures.  Took this one on Saturday night under the Ravenel Bridge.
In case you missed yesterday’s post, I shared two fall looks featuring this top that I love!  And both of these jeans are my favorites this season and will be worn on repeat.
This is another tunic that I mentioned was a fave last week.  Well, it just came in and I love it!  Another one that covers my rear (winner!) and a great comfy top too!
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!
Fall starts tomorrow!

  1. Looks like a pretty successful 5th birthday full of fishing, arcade games, birthday cakes and smiles (and maybe some adult beverages too 🙂 Sure doesn't look like the fall weather I'm seeing in my part of the world.
