Wednesday Whereabouts: THIS IS 33!

Growing up, if you had told me at 33, I would be married for almost ten years, to the love of my life, that I dated six years prior to getting married, AND have four beautiful children, I know I wouldn’t have believed you!  Especially considering I’d always told everyone I knew that I wanted one boy, and one girl, and that was it…AND that was if I really wanted to get married at all.  I think I still owe my childhood best friend $100 for losing the bet on only having two children!  Growing up a little, while engaged at 22, I knew I wanted more children that just two.  The bond I have with my five sisters helped me make the jump from wanting just two, to wanting more than two!  I am beyond blessed to have my four children, and am forever grateful to the hubs for allowing this very happy life to happen, okay, the Lord had something to do with it too, but I just feel so blessed to be here at 33.  Here with my family, here with y’all, my readers, and here with all of my amazing friends, old and new!  Thanks so much for helping me make it this far, and I hope each year continues to fill my life with blessings.  I know there will be some down times, as I’m sure many of you have experienced in your own lives, but the Lord has prepared, and will continue to prepare me for that.  I thank Him for all of the miracles, big and small, and truly believe that everything happens for a reason.  And just like it’s been every birthday year since December 1980, exactly ONE WEEK until Christmas, y’all!

Cheers to my 33rd year!  I hope it’s the best one yet!
And if you had ever told me I’d be asking for a blender on my birthday, well…I guess I must just be getting old!
