Wednesday Whereabouts + #LillyPaintsCharleston

We couldn’t have asked for better weather this week!  Minus the pollen, we’re so grateful for another beautiful week here!

First and foremost, why do boys LOVE getting dirty?  Okay, they clearly don’t come everyday looking this dirty, this was an extreme, but I swear I could let my girls wear their dresses twice before having to wash them.  Not so with my boys.  I should honestly invest in a stain remover company, for how often I have to use it on their clothes!  But I do love that they obviously don’t care.
We took the kids to Waffle House a few months ago, and ever since, every time we see the sign they always ask to go back.  I took the boys this past week and they were elated!

The water was definitely cold, but the girls didn’t seem to mind when they were splashing.  That’s a good sign for when our pool opens soon.  I have a feeling that while it may be hot out, the water is still going to be pretty icy.  Their dresses are available here and here.
Some of you have asked about my neon pink polish.  I found this one at a drugstore.  It was matte when I applied it, but I added Essie’s Super Duper Topcoat to make them glossy.

I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to try Starbucks’ oatmeal, but y’all, it’s so good!

On Friday night, we headed over to my friend Natalie‘s parents’ condo for a “spend-the-night party”, as my kids call it.  We always have the best time hanging out late, and letting the kids play.
Smiles all around.
Perusing the boats on Saturday morning.  Check out that huge one behind them!
What I Wore

Lilly Pulitzer Bailey Top (I’m wearing a small; fit is true to size) // J.Crew 3″ Chino Shorts // Tory Burch Gold Millers (true to size) // Gorjana Cross Over Cuff (on sale here; also available here) // Gorjana Arrow Cuff // Julie Vos Ring

On Saturday evening, we headed to our friend’s 4th birthday party.  I’ve got to get my hands on pics of the cake to show you.  It was incredible!  Picture a huge bucket of oysters with tabasco sauce, etc.

What I Wore

Yesterday, the boys and I visited the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry.
They always have the best time, but in their opinion we never stay long enough.

Lilly Paints Charleston!

Fashion Week is this week in Charleston.  Last night, Cameran Eubanks of Bravo’s Southern Charm and Lilly Pulitzer hosted a little get-together on the rooftop of the Grand Bohemian Hotel.

So I’ve had a few of you ask how I’m already so tan.  Honestly, I just spend a lot of time outside, whether it’s tennis, running, the park with the kiddos, you name it.  And I guess I just tan easily.  I’ve never had a spray tan, although I’ve heard so many people rave about it.  I’m just always so afraid of splotching, it getting on my clothes and that it doesn’t last that long.  But my friends who’ve done it, look awesome!

Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Top (true to size, I’m wearing a small)  // J.Crew 3″ White Chino Shorts // Michael Kors Wedges (on sale and true to size)
Due to a minor computer issue, I’m postponing the rest of my Spring Break Faves until tomorrow.  I also had a request to include maternity swimsuits.  Those will be posted tomorrow, as well.  In case you missed the first round-up, check out yesterday’s post.
Hope y’all are having a great week so far!

  1. I always love your Elsa outfits! I'm waiting for my Ooh La La print to arrive this week. Did you get a chance to see the new Southern Charm print at the event? I'm wondering how the flamingo pink compares to the pop pink.
