Tennis lessons started yesterday for all four! I always hope they grow up to love it just as much as I do, so they can play with me. Except whenever I tell them that, they tell me that when they grow up that I’ll be really old and they’ll be able to beat me easy. Challenge! Haha.
The boys got long overdue haircuts the other day. New year, new cuts!
Did anyone catch the Golden Globes on Sunday? This was one of my favorite parts! Can you believe Dick Van Dyke is 93!? Loved him then and still love him now. Other favorite parts were when they recognized Carol Burnett and Jeff Bridges!

My sister sent this to me the other day. This is how large and in charge our magnolia tree has grown in the yard of our childhood home! We used to climb on it when we were younger. Can’t imagine what it looks like on the inside now!

Mex-1 goodness I enjoyed yesterday. If you ever go, you MUST try their Bangin’ Shrimp Taco. The best! Also got the charred Cauliflower taco.
I’ve been loving this mug lately. The shape of it makes it so much less likely for it to spill when I’m in the car in the mornings for carpool.
Speaking of carpool and school. The kids started back on Monday and were so excited to get back and see their teachers and friends! They wanted to be the first ones there, so this was right before we loaded up the car at 6:50am. Loving Effie’s outfit. Those are her red cowgirl boots she was so excited to receive for Christmas!
Happiness is…a bike ride break with a big chocolate chip cookie!
Friday was Family Game Night. We love the game LIFE! My sisters and I used to play it all the time growing up.
I can’t remember if I’ve shared this face mask with you or not, but I love it! I try and use it at least once a week.
Lanier and I enjoyed one more date night over the weekend before the kids headed back to school on Monday. We’re officially back to our regularly scheduled program. Wearing this jacket, this shirt, these shoes (in seashell pink) and these earrings (currently on sale!).

Did your table come with benches or did you make that decision? Have four kids and a longer table. Currently we have chairs but am considering doing benches for ease of cleaning. Would love to know your thoughts.
It didn’t. I bought them separately. We have chairs at our other table and I can’t decide which one I like better. I like both. 😉
