Another week, another awesome whirlwind. Last week, we had a mini-party for our friend Carson, turning 7.
They wanted to pose like this. Cracks me up!
The weather was beautiful and the kids had the best time, as always!
On Friday, the girls could wear green if they brought in $1. They both chose Lilly dresses. Wheeler’s dress I scored during this year’s big sale. Donations went to the Sewee Center to help with our community’s efforts to save loggerhead turtles.
On Friday night, we attended a Stork Club Party with some friends. The attire was 1940s Cabaret Cocktail. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun with it!
I was lucky enough to get to wear real vintage jewelry at the party. My ring and bracelet were both from Candy Shop Vintage.
What I Wore
And I got to wear my gold sparkly heels again! Vest, similar here and on sale.
On Saturday, we had fun hanging out around town.
We picked up this awesome Panthers outfit for Boozer while we were out!
On Sunday, Lanier and I went to an all day Lowcountry Oyster Festival at Boone Hall Plantation with some friends. It claims to be the world’s largest oyster festival with over 80,000 lbs of oysters!
Oyster Shooters
I found a baby crab in one of mine. Apparently, that’s supposed to be good luck!
Look at how HUGE some of the oysters were?!
Delicious bites from lots of local spots. The jalapeño poppers were my favorite!
Oyster shucking contests. Loved this guy!
Oyster eating contests. There were so many oysters in each one of those cups!!
A great performance by the Piedmont Boys. Loved every song, the lead singer sounded so much like Johnny Cash, and everyone danced. Such a fun day!
There was also a kids’ section with lots of activities and treats.
Since we didn’t bring the kids, I thought they’d enjoy a pic of me on a triceratops! 😉
There’s a reason scenes from The Notebook were filmed here.
Absolutely beautiful!
What I Wore
Cardigan (color is sold out, but there are five other colors here) // Sunglasses // Boots // Lips in Tabloid // Tassel Necklace // Twine & Twig Necklace // Lanier’s Sunglasses // Lanier’s Shirt (sold out, similar here)
Vaughn and I are still enjoying our one-on-one time on days he doesn’t have school. His cute little box had a muffin in it that he picked out. Mercantile & Mash is delicious, by the way. I have yet to hit up the Mash Bar at night yet, but I’ve heard it’s so much fun!
My fun Valentine’s shirt! So many people (Lanier included) in public have asked after reading it, “I Whale You” – I don’t get it? I think it’s hilarious that that many people even notice it, or even care to ask. Pretty entertaining. // Kate Spade Heart Confetti Coin Purse // Ray-Bans
As I shared on yesterday’s post, my Kendra Scott pink/orange bracelet is on sale! Shown here with this bracelet, this spike bracelet and this watch.
In case you missed it, Shopbop just added new items to their sale section yesterday. Today, I wanted to share even more favorites…
