We had a restful time this past week, staying inside a lot, with all the rain that came through. A huge plus was that both girls completed their Valentine’s cards over the weekend, so it was one less thing we had to worry about getting done before Valentine’s Day this week.

The girls have enjoyed wearing lots of pink and red this month!

I swear E is a natural at taking photos! We were stir-crazy on Thursday afternoon with all the nasty weather out, so E had fun taking LOTS of photos!

On Thursday night, I went out with some girlfriends for our book club, and tried out a new restaurant that used to be Providence Cafe, now renamed Napa on Providence. The raw oysters were my favorite! I’ll share the yummy cocktail I enjoyed on tomorrow’s Thirsty Thursday!
Sweet Potatoes Heart Outfit (old, but I LOVE this Sweet Potatoes Outfit)
I was impressed at how much attention E gave to each of her Valentine’s, she made for her classmates. At this age, W wasn’t so willing.
Mini Boden Top (old, but similar HERE)
On Saturday morning, we had some down time, before heading off to Target. E loved helping Dorothy (W), put puzzles together.
Circo Bow Leggings (old, similar HERE)
W, giving Boozer some love.
E, enjoying a yummy pita pocket, while watching some cartoons.
I don’t know about y’all, but my kiddos LOVE the big red ball!
Snow White made some pretty tasty french toast on Saturday morning…
…almost as tasty as the Seabreeze I made on Saturday afternoon.
How springy is this dress I picked up at Target on Saturday? Not quite sure yet if I’ll be wearing it as a dress, or just a cover-up this summer. Either way, super cute, and for a steal! Thanks Natalie, for the inspiration! I can’t find it online, but it’s very similar to this one. Also, the painting on the right is “Sunset on Rainbow Row” in Charleston. One of our friends painted it, after we got engaged at the Battery in Charleston (way back in 2003!).
I’m obsessed with this J.Crew Statement Necklace! I bet you can guess what I’ll be wearing on Valentine’s Day! And to make it even more of a match made in heaven…my Essie Nails in Peach Daiquiri matched it perfectly!
Ugg Slippers // Bedhead Pajamas (old, similar HERE)
After staying out too late at a friend’s house with the kids on Saturday night, we vegged on the couch on Sunday night, eating leftover Valentine’s candy, watching the Grammys. I loved every single performance!

Keeping up with the pink and red love in February, W rocked this sweet little braid on Monday.
Yesterday, she wore this Katniss Everdeen-inspired style. It’s actually really easy. Just start a french braid sideways, rather than on top of the head.
Look at little V! Almost 4 months, and so so close to rolling over! C’mon, buddy!
How awesome is this festival’s line-up? It’s in Atlanta in May, called the Shaky Knees Festival. The hubs and I are thinking about making a weekend of it. Should be fun!
Hope y’all have a Happy Ash Wednesday!
I haven’t decided what I’m giving up for Lent yet, but I’ll let y’all know tomorrow!
Man! Is the rain EVER going to stop? I'm going stir crazy, and I'm NOT in a house full of little ones!
You should absolutely go to that concert!! I just saw the Lumineers this month and it was the best concert I've ever been to!!
I love the Lanz pajama's under the snow white outfit! I still rock the Lanz 🙂
Love the Katniss braid!
Wow you are doing some awesome braids! You have the cutest kids ever and I cannot believe how tiny you are! xx
