Wednesday Whereabouts

We’ve enjoyed lots of outings this past week!
The Aquarium was wonderful.  I have a feeling we’ll be back often.  Lots of places to explore.
Didn’t notice until I saw this pic now that she’s wearing two different color socks!
The Lemurs!
Going in for a kiss, when I asked him to hug his buddy.
We visited The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry and Logan and Vaughn loved the water table room.  Effie loved the castle room with dress-ups and props.  But the boys loved it so much that they were soaked and I had to buy them t-shirts from the museum gift shop.  Unexpected souvenirs!
And lots of antics at lunchtime, like blowing bubbles in their cups.  This was at Monza downtown.  Really tasty meatballs and pizza!
As I mentioned on last Wednesday’s Whereabouts post, Wheeler’s school had Career Week last week, and she said she wanted to be a mom when she grew up.  I told her she could be a mom and something else too.  But she said, no I just want to be a mom.  She also wanted to make sure she could still live with me, even though she would be a mom too.  Ha!
Love her ensemble of Ugg Boots // Leggings // Flower Headband // Just throw on a cardigan (sold out, but I love this one) and grab a Starbucks and she’s good to go!
Lanier’s parents came in town over the weekend.  We had the best time visiting Fort Moultrie.  Because of the cold weather and it not being tourist season yet, it was pretty deserted.
And this was the best pic we could get, with how windy it was!
Effie requested this pic with Vaughn under the flag.
 Poppy with Vaughn.
Our little Patagonia Puffer Family!  One day (hopefully soon) we won’t have to wear these jackets as often.
 Enjoying lunch at Taco Mamacita’s.
 Celebrating Grammy’s birthday!
For an update on the fit of this Beach Dress, the small fit me so well and I’m a 4/6.  It’s flowy, but I love it!  It’s also part of the tiered Shopbop Sale going on now.
These K Jacques Sandals are part of the Shopbop Sale right now too.  I purchased these last spring and still enjoy wearing them so much.  I never had to break them in, and the more I wear them, the softer they get.  For fit, I’m an 8.5 and went with a 39 on these.  // The blue fringe cover-up shown is also on sale for $59.  I’m a 4/6 and the medium fit me the best.
Today’s the last day of Serena & Lily’s Extra 25% Off Sale items.
Enter EVENBETTER at check-out.
Love the print on these Sanibel Sheets, currently on sale with an additional 25% off.
And don’t forget that Shopbop’s Tiered Sale is still going on!

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Did you notice that the Mara Hoffman "Embellished Cover up Dress" is eerily similar to the girls version Mara Hoffman dress that was so cute?

  2. Looks like y'all are having fun. On a rainy day, you should check out the Fire Museum right by Tanger Outlets. It's very small but they give the kids hats, there's a pole and slide in the middle, a fire truck simulator, sticker badge maker, etc. If they do the little scavenger hunt and turn it in, they give them a pencil. I think admission is free for one kid per paid adult. My kids always enjoy it 🙂
