W is so excited that we actually have a SNOW DAY and school was canceled! Unfortunately, E and L will have to miss out, since W passed both of them her stomach bug she had this past Friday and Saturday. The rough day for them was yesterday, so I’m hoping today goes much smoother, and they all get well soon! Lots to share with you on this Wednesday…
Now that I’ve been using concealer with a couple of break-outs this Winter, I’ve been using this powder to set the concealer. It does brighten the face too, which is a bonus. Apply it with the Stila Brush seen above, rather than the powder pad that comes with it. Also, make sure you purchase the compact case, in addition to the powder, it doesn’t come with it.
Love. Love. Love this Product! As stated above, I’ve had some break-outs this Winter, along with dark circles from dealing with sick babies at night lately, and this concealer has worked wonders. I use #2: Wake Up Call. It not only conceals, it brightens, hydrates and soothes the skin. You click the applicator once to get the perfect amount of concealer to use, and then the cooling applicator reduces puffiness as you apply it. I then apply the Stila Illuminating Powder afterward, to set it.
I don’t need to go into too much detail about how much I LOVE this product, but I think it’s worth every penny. It separates and lengthens every lash. And if there are any clumps, which is rare, I’ve found that the Eyelash Comb (pictured above) helps separate them. It’s also a two-in-one, with an eyebrow brush on the opposite side.
I’ve always enjoyed the Rosebud Salve, but there’s definitely been once or twice where the salve has melted in my purse, because I didn’t shut the tin well enough. I’m so glad that this now comes in a tube, to prevent that from happening.
Cannot get enough of her new perfume. It’s my go-to scent, lately.
Perfect for everyday, or a special occasion. A mix of feminine and tomboy, easy and polished.

J.Crew’s Newest Arrivals are here, and it’s all about color!
Today only, they’re offering free shipping on every order.
Here’s what I’m loving…
The Swing Sweater is back, in an array of pretty colors.
I own them in many colors, but the purple is my absolute favorite! Love accenting it with my turquoise necklaces.
I love the colors and style of this Silk Flutter Top so much that I’m having a hard time choosing one color.
You know my love for the J.Crew Chino Short is no secret. I wear them in almost every OOTD all summer long. Such an easy short to throw on, and pair with almost any top in your closet. And now they’re available in a slew of new bright, happy colors!
The newest graphic print knits are so cute and perfect now, and later. Now with a shirt underneath, and later, with a simple short and sandals this summer.
Can’t wait to wear this Embroidered Stripe Tunic over a swimsuit this summer. FYI, it runs really large, and it’s pretty long too. I’m a 4/6, and got an XS.
Most of the time, J.Crew’s loveliest shoes are priced pretty high. These are under $100.
Throw this Printed Silk Snood with a simple white tee/tank and khaki shorts/jeans, to add a fun pop of color, even in the Spring, since it’s silk.
The perfect size for your purse.
J.Crew now carries these Fujifilm Instax Mini Cameras that sold out very quickly at Nordstrom over the holidays.
Just be sure and order the film too, it isn’t included!
The Fan Fringe Necklace has been marked down at J.Crew Factory.
Answers: Top: University of Georgia // Middle: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill // Bottom: The Citadel (had to share that one for my dad!)
Stay Warm, Y’all!
love those map prints! so fun. xo jillian
Sorry to hear your little ones have been sick- hopefully they are feeling better today! Also, I hope W is enjoying her snow day 🙂 This the fourth snow day in a row up here in MI and I know my students at school are loving it! Quick question, I remember you posting about the camera featured in todays post back when Nordstrom carried it, but did you buy it then? I was wondering if you did, how do you like it? It seems like fun, but semi-practical purchase as I'm firm believer you can never have too many pictures 😉
The map prints are awesome, love those Callie sandals, and I need that baby Mason Pearson brush for my purse!
Ah the swing sweater… always out of stock for me. Glad it's back!
Great picks! Those J. Crew Sweaters have been calling my name!
