Tuesday Trends: My Skincare Regimen

I’ve had some readers interested in how I take care of my face.  For starters, I have olive skin with dark spots from the sun and some melasma (dark spots leftover from my four pregnancies).  Growing up I had a few breakouts but nothing too serious.  Lately, I’ve been suffering from more than just the occasional breakout so I had to change my skincare routine to help solve the problem.  Every product I use is by Pevonia Botanica.  It’s a new product I’ve been trying for the past three months and have been very pleased with the results.  With all of these products, a little goes a long way.  Apply sparingly.

Every Morning
Wash face with warm water and Combination Skin Cleanser (1-2 pumps).
Apply Collastin Eye Contour (after toner has dried).
Every Evening
Apply at least an hour before bed to let all creams set.

Wash face with warm water and Combination Skin Cleanser.
Apply Spot Cream (only on my severe dark spots).
Apply Collastin Eye Contour (after lightning cream has dried).
Apply Refining Marine DNA Cream.
Once a week I use my Clarisonic brush.  I’ve had mine for over three years and it’s been worth every penny.  After using it, my face always feels amazing and extra clean.  At one point I was using it every night, but now I’ve been advised I was overusing it, so I’ve cut back to once a week.  It works wonders on blackheads, especially when I apply my toner directly after using the Clarisonic.

As always all opinions are my own.  I was not compensated for promoting Pevonia Botanica or FragranceNet.com.

On another note, I was searching for some comfy, swingy tops for summer and found these at Anthropologie.  They’re perfect!  Just the right amount of swing, classic colors and the length is spot on.  A little longer which I like, and my shorts still show.

While hunting, I came across this Joie Dress too.

How pretty is the silky nautical theme?

I hope y’all are having a wonderful Wednesday!
