Tuesday Trends: Beach Trip || Part One

Click here for links to everything I packed in the image above.
I waited until Friday morning to pack for the beach.  I’m usually a lot more organized and make a check list so I won’t forget anything.  This time I kind of just threw piles together and packed it in our suitcases.  Well, it’s Tuesday and we’re good so far!  I don’t know if that means I’m getting better about knowing what to pack, or that I just got lucky on this trip.
And we’re off!  The hubs couldn’t make it this year because of work but my parents, and four of my sisters and their families met us down there.  10 grandchildren total!
I’m still getting lots of wear out of my Leticia Sandals.  I had really considered the black Millers for awhile, but then decided I probably had enough colors in the Miller style.  Don’t get me wrong I love the Miller style, but I just wanted something a little different.
E’s Pajamas are now 30% off, with free shipping.  Use code: SHOPNOW at checkout.  This sale is just too good right now, especially with free shipping on every order.
I’ve got this pretty Girls’ Stripe Top in my cart right now.
So the first morning we woke up and headed to the beach for a seaside church service.  That didn’t last long.  E couldn’t resist the ocean…even with her dress on!
My mom and dad (Gigi and Grandaddy) with the kids, off to the beach!
I got this Hayden Reis Ditty Tote last summer and was so excited to use it again this summer.  You may remember the post about it here (lots of detailed photos).  It really is the BEST beach tote, made of sail cloth, wipes away easily and has tons of inside pockets.
I’ve always been a big fan of hooded beach towels.  I ordered these from Pottery Barn Kids and they’re the perfect size and stay wrapped around the kids so much better than regular beach towels.  Since you can have them personalized they make great baby gifts, as well.  My sister still loves the one I got her daughter last summer.  Mermaid // Octopus // Shark
Little V with one of his cousins.  This is his new “Cheese!” face!
E the Baby Whisperer.
Tank (runs large, I have it in an XS) // Necklace // Ring // Shorts (in Melted Caramel)

The girls hanging out with their buddies that we don’t see often enough!
V follows every seagull he sees.
Four of the six sisters, and my beautiful mama.
E with her animated cousin W.
Hayden Reis sent me these Sea Shell Mesh Bags.  The girls love them.  The perfect bags to collect seashells and the perforated holes help clear out the sand.  I’m planning on letting the girls use them at the pool this summer to carry their toys to and from the pool.
W with her sweet little cousin E.
Snack Time, visiting with their cousin MB.
Little Surfer Girl
Gigi with V
Gigi with the crew

My sister (#2 of the 6) changed her mind at the last minute and decided to make the trip.  So glad she did!  5 of the 6 of us are here with all of our kids (10 total).  #3 who isn’t here has better things to do.  She and her husband are headed to Italy on Friday.

P. S. Kate Spade’s Surprise Sale started today!  Love this little cross body.

If you need some last-minute Father’s Day gift ideas check out my favorites here!
If ordered today, most of them should arrive before Sunday.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. Love all your pictures!! You guys look like you are having so much fun at the beach! Your family is adorable and I love seeing all the kids clothes!! They are always dressed to perfection 🙂

  2. Weird question, but what kind of bra do you wear with the black and white tank with spaghetti straps? Strapless? It's so cute but I had to figure out the bra situation. 😉 Thanks!
