Tuesday Trends: Anthropologie Sale Faves + Cream Cheese Cookies Recipe

We’ve been continuing to enjoy lots of family time here.  While the children were napping yesterday, I had a chance to check out Anthropologie’s newest arrivals.  Lots of cute tops and dresses!  Remember, for a limited time, everything is 20% off with code: EXTRACHEER.
**Click on images to shop or links below.**

Mara Hoffman Mina Coverup (call me crazy because it’s in the dead of winter, but I absolutely LOVE this coverup!) // Yumi Kim Talula Popover (such a cute option for a low-key NYE) // Ollie Twist Back Tee (the back of this top is gorgeous) // Comacina Tunic // Puella Striped Swing Tunic (love how soft Puella’s knits are) // Equine Print Dress (the little horses on this one are so pretty!) // Crescent Street Buttondown (Both the red and blue colors on this top are beautiful.)
I know I don’t share many recipes, but wanted to share this one my mom made every year for our neighbors growing up.  That’s if she could package them up quick enough.  If she left them out to cool, we’d eat them all!
Cream Cheese Cookies
Makes 60-80 cookies.
2 Sticks Margarine
3oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 Egg Yolk
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
2 3/4 Cups Plain Flour
1 Cup Sugar
Pre-heat over to 325 degrees.
Cream butter and cream cheese.
Add sugar and egg yolk.
Add flour and vanilla.
Pinch and roll in small balls (can flatten in three fingers).
Press pecan or cherry half (drain well) on each ball.
Bake.
Let cool completely.
*Note: They do not brown.  Mix with spoon.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow!  So excited!!
Merry Merry, Y’all!

  1. Found your blog while searching for Hunter wellies in the Smoke color which you featured in 2013…any idea if these are still available ANYWHERE?!? I found a site from Australia but I'm too nervous to purchase international.
