Thirsty Thursday: Red, White and Shirley Temple, Blog Sale Update

Since Memorial Day weekend starts tomorrow, I thought we’d all cheers to the weekend a day early with a red, white and blue treat – Red, White and Shirley Temple!  I found the recipe, here.


By: Shannon Armour “Since we can’t make it to Chicago to try the Trump International’s Fireworks cocktail (pictured above), we decided to make up our own by putting a…twist on the alcoholic version of our favorite childhood cocktail. “

1 part vodka
2 parts lemon-lime soda of choice
1 part pineapple
splash of grenadine
whipped cream 
blueberries
Combine first four ingredients in a shaker and pour over ice. Garnish with whip cream and blueberries. 

And while this isn’t really going with the red, white and blue theme here, I’m still majorly obsessed with these…

  3. Good luck picking out which color Blings to buy! I have several pairs and love them. If you get the TB sandals I would be curious to hear what you think of them. My husband bought me a pair of TB sandals last year and I was disappointed with the quality for the $$. Perhaps I should have gone with a different style.
