Thirsty Thursday: The Pink Lilly

This week’s concoction comes from the book that I just finished reading, Social Climbers.  Beth Dunn wrote about this sweet cocktail she served at one of her fun parties.  It sounds absolutely delicious!  Please let me know when you give this one a try, and tell me if you like it!  I’m hoping to make it soon!

2 Cups Grapefruit Juice
2 Cups Pineapple Juice
1 1/2 Cups White Rum
1 Cup Chilled Club Soda
Splash of Grenadine (to make it pink!)

In a pitcher, combine juices and rum. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir well and pour into ice-filled martini or high ball glasses. Top with club soda and grenadine, and garnish with a mint sprig.

Cheers!

In the words of Beth Dunn, “Collars up!”
A pink ensemble for this one, ladies, for Trish’s Pink and Green Thursday.
(These look weird, but they look awesome on, and make your legs look a mile long!)
(A girl can dream, right?)
Happy Sipping on this Thursday!

This pink and green dress would also look great while drinking your Pink Lilly.  I’ve got it listed on ebay.  It’s a brand new, with tags, Lilly Pulitzer Livie Dress, size 8.  It retails for $328, and I’ve got it on ebay with a starting bid of $89.95.  Click here if interested.  It’s so cute, with hidden side pockets too!

Yesterday’s locations were Boston, Massachusetts and Scarborough, Maine.  We’re having a wonderful time in Boston, and taking advantage of everything the city has to offer!  We also have a couple of great tour guides, as well.  A and S, y’all are the best!  Tomorrow, we’re off to the wedding weekend in Maine.  Can’t wait!
