Happy Thursday! I hope y’all are making it through this long week, after having such a short week, last week. The weather has been clear here, which has been nice, a little on the hot side, but we’ve still managed to find some sort of water everyday. The hubs and I watched True Grit last night, and it was actually really good. The cinematography in the movie was unbelievable!
Now, for today’s cocktail…
I am pretty adamant about having Absolut Peppar in my Bloody Mary, if at all possible, but I’ve never seen it used with any other cocktail. This one sounds so simple and delicious – almost like it would taste like a Big Red piece of chewing gum, with an added kick!
Staying with the red theme, how great would this dress look, while sipping this cocktail?
The bi-annual Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale is going on today, through Saturday, in Valley Forge, PA. Since I can’t make it there, my sweet friend Rachel is there, checking everything out for me, and reporting back. She and her mom always make the trip, and come back with loads and loads of Lilly, at amazing deals! In fact, this time she managed to get the above wedges for me, for a mere $40 (originally $178!). Can’t beat that! The next warehouse sale will most likely be held in early November.

I love those shoes. I have the flats, but want the wedges? Speaking of wedges, did you see the blue and pink Lilly wedges with the white knot. Oh, how I want the blue ones!
The pulled pork in the egg is out of this world. I also made the baby back rib recipe from the egg operating manuel. Soooo delicious!

The more and more I hear about the warehouse sale, the more and more jealous I become :). Hope they bring you back lots of goodies. I just checked on RueLaLa and guess I was a few hours too late because the shoes I like are sold out! Oh well, that's what happens when you wait. I know I'll be on it as soon as I can on Friday when Lilly goes up!

Too funny – I flew up there for the sale today too and got the same wedges, along with lots of other goodies! I'll do a post tomorrow on everything. Those sales are so much fun! You should try to make one if you can!
